I've lived in many places thru my life, up and down the financial roller coaster, big houses, tents, back seats of cars, shelters, to houses again... but when I see your house, everything about it, the wonderful features, the yard, and the beatifications you add just astound me. I wish I could have a duplicate over here in the US.

I like the idea of a chair (recliners are nice!) and end table in that corner. Add a overhead lamp behind it and then you could sit in the warmth when Sherpa's outside and the door is open and do your editing or read etc...! 🙂

Your "fireplace" room needs a reading chair. Along with that, a bookcase where you can start building a nice collection of literary classics to enjoy on those quiet nights with Sherpa. Do you have any favorite books or a certain genre of books you like to read? It would also be a great place to journal.
You sound like me, lol. But we have to remember sometimes that not everyone likes to read. I know, they really do exist ...

@Debra.Justice Yes it is snowing here. A few inches already. Could get upwards of a foot. I'm supposed to be getting my Snow Dog and Robin book tomorrow. But they may not be able to get here.😕 That sounds lovely sitting on front porch and playing frisbee brings back memories of my Blue Heeler Patches. He was the best frisbee dog. He could flip and fly and never miss a one. ❤️

Whew I slept in until 11. This poor grandma got exhausted yesterday. We had a great time with everybody here. Even our son-in-law came down! So all our kids and all of our grandkids.
Our daughter gave my husband and I amazing presents. He got a tee shirt with his "grandpa" name and six small fisties with each grandchildren's names. I got an ornament with "Nana" and each of their names.
Our elder son got me an icon crucifix. I cried.
IT SNOWED!!!!!!!!!!! We have a White Christmas!!! Looks like at least three inches and more coming down! :)
