I bought this watch a couple months ago, the strap looked good but was very uncomfortable and had no micro adjustments, ended up replacing it with a new stainless band. It connects to Atomic signal at 2:00 am every day and is absolutely accurate. Slowly learning the slide rule. I like heavy watches and this one is heavy!
I have one of these watches but it is the red arrows ltd ed tribute version. The navihawks are the same as the old skyhawk of 25 years ago except that the moveable bezel is inside the watch face under the glass. The knob at 8o'clock is the adjustment control. How citizen have managed to retain the 200m water resistance without resorting to screw down crowns etc. is nothing short of a miracle. I also have the old skyhawk in titanium but because it's not super titanium does pick up lots of minor scratches. I also have an f900 sat watch in super titanium so I am able to confirm that the super titanium treatment is very effective because there's not a discernable scratch on it. I also have a radio controlled solar powered casio watch in titanium which doesn't have the benefit of a hardening process and has a lot of scratches on it, especially on the clasp. Other than that, although it's a very inexpensive watch (I'm avoiding using the word cheap because I don't want cheap to mean poor quality which it most certainly is not) is a very fine watch indeed and anyone buying one will not be disappointed. Quite the opposite!
Nice review 😉 I wanted this watch since it came out but kept putting it off, finally ordered it awhile ago and waiting to receive it this week excited 😆
Ma786sai Dua take a look at the steel NAVIHAWK CC9030-51E. It’s a fabulous robust absolutely wonderful time piece. I was buying the model you have, but when I saw Citizen CC9030-51E it was love at first sight! Great video by you. God bless you
Hi, thank you for your comment and for your very kind words. The model you showed looks fantastic! I will check up thoroughly! Have a great day ahead! God bless you!
Yes, the watch band size is 23mm it's a very odd sizing for sure but can be found. I would suggest looking into the Fitbit Blaze watch bands, I've been told they are 23mm also and will make it easier to find a replacement band for the watch. I have just recently ordered one for myself, it's a blackout watch band for the fitbit blaze and the seller said he used a gauge to measure the watch width and it was 22.9mm for the width of the band. All stainless black link band
Their wireless time sync feature does not work and is worthless. It relies on what is now a largely non-existent network of antenna's that used to rebroadcast the WWV time clock sync signal across the US. Other than that they deserve props for nice looking watches that don't need to be wound up and rarely need charging. No owner of an iWatch can say that with a straight face.
I had problems with syncing too but then I just moved the watch to another place in my apartment and it was able to receive the signals and could sync. You should try in different locations as well maybe even outdoor.
The wireless sync does work!!! The towers in England, Germany, USA, China and two in Japan are still being used and are still working around the world. If it doesn’t work for you because you are in a poor signal reception area, or you are not in an area that can pick up the signal, you can still get an A-T signal sent to your Citizen watch. There are apps like ‘Clock Wave’ and ‘Radio Wave Sync’ on iTunes Store that can send the signal direct to your watch. They are both £1.79 at (07.09.2022) the moment, and they both work. You can use them with Citizen A-T watches + some clocks and Casio Multi-Band 6 watches.
I don't know where you got your information from but I have a number of radio controlled watches and they all work just fine. I find it quite amusing to watch the seconds hands sync together so accurately that you can't see any difference. Mind you, I'm in England.
I have this one in Stainless, like yours and I have the Rose Gold version... They are my everyday wears and still great conversation pieces.

Oh by the way, the strap for the model JY8020-52e looks like it's much better. I think you can buy the straps separately.

Great looking watch. Do you still like it? And do you know the total length of the watch? (From top lugs to bottom lugs) thanks!
Lovely vidéo
Wow thank you very much!
Beautiful watch, but not automatic
Great Watch indeed, the leather straps makes it even more awesome... Nice Review
Are the links held together with split pins, or are the links held together with pins and collars?
Nice leather strap, love the colour of it.
Hi, the links in the bracelet are held together with standard normal one piece pins you push out with something and that's it.
Is it available in titanium?
No sapphire. Really? Cmon citizens
What is the size for the band ? I have this watch but I have stop wearing it because mesh band is uncomfortable

The steel band is made in china.

Leather band takes away from the beauty of the watch. It cheapens the appearance.
Time is dead on. Amazing but a heavy beast of a watch.
