Great video. I can remember that old style of the Redline cars, They were certainly excellent back in the day, and road those trains for a dime. Ten cents where have the times gone? lol
Awesome exhibit, l had seen the R22 car that’s painted yellow was from the work service of a former passenger nyc subway car but it would be nice for a repaint of some understated different colors from the past including the Boston 1400 series that a repaint job to even the color more smoothly!
Good God, I remember when the 01400's were new; hard to believe that was almost 60 years ago. I am partial to the original color scheme of blue and white with gold trim.
every fucking time I'm there, it's always only the orange closed car and the yellow open car that are operating, but having seen this video of all the OTHER trains taking their wheels for a spin it now feels like the seashore trolley museum is hiding something from me!!
Man I live about ten minutes away from their and I used to go their all the time as s kid! I went to the pumpkin patch almost every year, we would go on holidays, and I went onto the old Boston blue line when we were at the circle to turn back the line for the subway came of and we were stuck but now that I am older I don't go anymore and if any one had been their in the past few years you would know that they have that big passenger train that has the broken glass on it before you used to be able to go in their and they had a model of the train in the cab and the bus doors used to be open so you could go in. I just had to bring that up.
The stuff from the MBTA has some serious rust problems. Also, the horns didn't normally sound like that -- must be getting clogged with rust and/or dirt. Strange that the MBTA 0600-series Blue Line cars weren't allowed to use their pantographs instead of needing trolley poles -- I guess Seashore must have some wire hangars that are incompatible with pantographs, although I couldn't see any in this video.
This is a good place the cars are in such good condition(not 01800s redline) however that redline pair does have a very cool vintage vibe to it nice vid +1 like i love how (being a old new yorker) they have them old r33wf and mta yellow r33? Cars there they really kept the new york style to it (#REDBIRDSLIVEON) though i know many of you railfanners may remember this cool train (RIP REDBIRDS NYCTA OPERATED TRAINS R33/R36 1962/64-2002/3 I KNOW THEIR ARE MORE REDBIRDS BUT THE R33 AND R36 WERE THE TRUE REDBIRDS I KNOW THE R22 WAS ONE OF THE OLDEST SO CALLED REDBIRDS BUT THE R33 AND R36 MADE UP THE ENTIRE FLEET OF REDBIRDS PLUS THEIR WELL KNOWN ANYWAYS NICE VID '-'
Classic Blue Line Car. I Remember that Screeching outbound at State Street in the 90's. Great to see them preserved

Where is this museum?
Amazing collection of equipment!!!!
Greatness of American/European Western art.
Has anyone ever heard of the SP Red Electrics???
Kennebunkport, Maine
@@railfanning1012 Thanks! The SP Red Electrics are a rare find. There is a book (now OOP) on the history of these Oregon local trolley trains!
I enjoyed video
That MBTA red train needs a new paintjob
The other MBTA stuff does too.

Forget what I said bout the passenger train..
Nice video, unfortunately the GM BUS ruined the shot coming in front of the 📷 camera. Love buses but not now!
I like preserving redbirds
Like a giant model train set!
