Do you have to refresh the perimeter of your hair ? No matter which gel I use I always find that I have to reapply gel there . Even when I sleep with a bonnet

No, never had that issue. If my curls gets frizzy I’ll apply a little more water and gel during the week but that’s it

I didn’t have any crunch. Using a mousse or leave in should soften it if you do
