एक छोटे से गांव का चौराहा।
मोटू, गोल-मटोल और चुलबुले स्वभाव का आदमी, अपने दोस्त पतलू के साथ बाजार में घूम रहा है।
मोटू की नजर अचानक एक दुकान पर जाती है, जहां जादुई चप्पल बिक रही होती है।
मोटू जिद्द कर के वो चप्पल खरीद लेता है। पतलू उसे समझाने की कोशिश करता है कि ये सिर्फ एक धोखा है, लेकिन मोटू नहीं सुनता।
मोटू घर पहुंचते ही चप्पल पहनता है और अचानक हवा में उड़ने लगता है!
मोटू खुशी से चिल्लाता है, "पतलू देख, मैं उड़ रहा हूँ!" लेकिन उसके उड़ने की दिशा बेकाबू हो जाती है।
