These aren't for water based color applied with a brush. They're supposed to be dipped till the color or ink fill to its thread like edge . Then u use for ink painting or calligraphy or something delicate. Look at Asian painting of ink and colour, you'll get it.
They can be used with any liquid that works with a pen, I don’t see why one would limit themselves purely to traditional uses when there is more than one way to utilize the pen.

These pens remind me of my childhood! I live in South Germany and every Christmas there is this beautiful market where these glass pens (handcrafted) are also sold. I actually even had one but broke the tip accidentally😭😅
Honestly, round of applause for this creator, who even though pretty small, actually discloses affiliation. There are big creators who don't, even though they could chew the money with their butts. It's really nice to see transparency
i’ve been using these for about a year and a half and my only complaint i have is that the tip breaks and then become completely unusable if you’re not being careful with them other than that they are absolutely great and some also come in packs with inks for like $20usd :))

In case anyone is interested, before tiktok started calling them "glass pens" they used to be called calligraphy pens because that's exactly what they are supposed to be used for, writing. Which is also why they are so smooth, they need to be smooth enough to write in cursive, which has a lot of turns and loops.
