@Daydream Baby I agree how beautiful his descriptions are of her, and this excellent upload has prompted me to leave my own comment which offers a flip side of what I can only describe as one of the most beautiful definitions of love that I've ever heard. Here's to love 🥂
Another excellent compilation, thank you. On the flip side I'm reminded of perhaps one of the most beautiful expressions of love and sentiment that I have ever heard and surprisingly it's said to Daphne by Mel in Season 7, Episode 20: To Thine Old Self Be True: Mel is talking with Daphne about a phone call that she received from Maris in which it is implied that if Mel leave Niles then Maris will cease defaming and slandering Mel's cosmetic surgery practice, and here is the excerpt which I refer to: "Well, I hung up on her. How insane is this woman? She thinks I'd give up Niles to protect my practice? I'm crazy about him. The way he laughs, the way he gets that little glint in his eye when he's about to say something clever... But do you know why I love him the most? It's like there are all these things that he could be if he could just trust someone enough to help him unlock it all. And if I could be that person - you know, that safe person in his life - well, the more I know him, the more I know that's all I want to be". I genuinely think that these words are the epitome of what it must be like to have someone love you.
I'm currently watching session 8 of Frazier where he's in the process of divorcing her. I know she had her faults and wasn't liked by the family, but I did like how she saw Niles true self and wanted to bring it out. In past seasons he was always being over shadowed by Frazier and immaculated by marris. I think Mel was a huge step in his ascent to manhood. Without her he would have never became cork master.
@@jonmedina259Mel really respected him and made him part of a power couple and before doing one unlikeable thing Frasier and the writers said 'look at her she’s literally Maris'
Another fine wonderful compilation - are you actually from the TV network that broadcast Frasier? If not then they really owe you a huge debt of gratitude- these compilations are put together with great thought care attention and professionalism - thank you so much 🙏
What a terrific start to a Monday morning with a cuppa tea 🍵 and another excellent clips from the the terrific show Frazier & what a compilation of snippets of Niles with the Daphne storyline 😀 thanks for this 👌
I think it's safe to say - for those who watch Frasier - that Niles & Daphne is everyone's favorite couple! 💖 EDIT: I love Niles and his love for Daphne. He has a knack for words, right? BUT the one thing I wish was written better is Niles' proposal to Daphne. I must admit, I was disappointed at his proposal. It lacked finesse and after all those years of describing what Daphne means to him, I expected more. I'd rather Niles read out the whole proposal letter that Roz reviewed and Niles re-read it to Daphne. Niles describing 3 English Roses sound spectacular!🌹
I hope not. If you read articles about the plans for it, only Frasier will be a regular character. Without the rest of that great cast, who will only have limited appearances, it will be a pale comparison to the original.
@@och70 That's exactly the way to do it, though. This is a new chapter, it shouldn't be trying to be the same show again, it should be trying to be something new like the transition from Cheers to Frasier was. My personal biggest worry is that they'll try to hard to emulate this show.
The Niles and Daphne story arc had such a satisfying conclusion.
And then Daphne stopped being funny.

I wish a man described me as luminous! Love how he loves her.
I think we all wish we had someone who described us like that! :=)

Hey Melinda was great 😊
Niles was never lost for words describing Daphne. Maris on the other hand…..😆
Maris is like the sun… without warmth
Maris is Daphne… give or take a foot 😆
Maris is ounces of fun.

Please learn to spell FRASIER, with an S, not a Z.
