Omg poot speech is like so amazing, at just 1 year old she can already speak like that?! Oh my god, she’s absolutely beautiful and she has the most facial expressions that I’ve ever seen in a 1 year old! Love her so much!

My daughter was always in the 5% of her weight for every check up. She has just always been little bitty, but she a full grown healthy 19 year old. As long as everything checks out, y’all’s precious baby will be good to go.

I had strabismus. One eye was weaker and turned up. Now a days there is an amazing surgery to help fix it if a patch doesn’t work. I highly encourage starting young because it can negatively impact how she’ll see the world and her depth perception if she does a long time with it. It also can cause migraines and stress on the neck if she develops a tilt in order to avoid the eye turning.
My daughter weighed 19 pounds when she turned one and they said she was small but perfectly healthy!! She will be 2 in August and weighs 25 pounds and is still perfectly healthy! My mom has worked in ophthalmology for almost 25 years and they will get everything worked out for little Poppy! ☺️
I still remember the day when I cried realising abbey is pregnant and then abbey had poppy and now she’s grown so big…. I love you guys 😍

Poot is the sweetest little baby. And I totally understand your concern about her vision, i had the same situation growing up, but when you take action as early as possible everything is going well. I hope she doesn't have anything, but if she has it, it will be also fine i know. You guys are amazing parents! ❤😻

Poot will be okay! My 4 year old has always been on the smaller side and is actually in the 3rd/4th percentile for weight. She used to be in the 2nd! I was on the smaller side all my life, so as long as a kid follows their growth curve, it’s all good :)

I have a lazy eye and I wasn't diagnosed until like 7 or 8 years old. My parents never really noticed it at the time but looking back at all of my baby pictures my lazy eye was very visible, my left eye would drift to the center almost making me look cross-eyed in one eye. I always hated wearing an eye patch because even when we went on vacation, I had to wear it. I had to see a specialist every week. To this day I struggle to see out of my left eye because of it, but hopefully, Poot, if she has it, is able to recover quickly from it. Best of luck to you all! - Also, Poot's attitude is so funny, and her cheesy smiles are so cute!
My little girl has the same problem but it went the opposite way and they said it’s not to bad. That if it’s not constant then she wouldn’t need surgery. So I think y’all will be okay. Sending prayers that all is normal! 🥰🥰
Awww sweet pooty pie! I had a lazy eye when I was younger. Was corrected with laser surgery and you’d never even know I had one!! Will be praying for a good update! ♥️♥️
Hi! When I was around Poppy's age I was diagnosed with something called Exotropia. It meant that when I was younger, my right eye would wander outwards instead of inward toward my nose. I went to a specialist as well, and I had to have two surgeries at 2 and at 4 to correct. I remember the process was scary, but the doctors that I had were amazing, and now that I'm older, I barely remember any of it! I'm now almost 30 and doing great! I have glasses and I have no issues with my eyes at all! I'm commenting because I think I went through a similar experience that Poppy is going through! Hopefully surgery isn't needed, and my fingers are always crossed for the best!

i had the exact same thing around poot’s age, i got a correctional surgery (it’s called strabismus surgery if you wanted to look it up) and then wore glasses as i got older.
When I was Poots age I had an eye issues. And I had to have surgery but it wasn’t that bad at all. So don’t worry if she has to get surgery on her eye. Lots of love guys!!❤️🥰

My brother and I both had an eye that turned in when we were babies! I got glasses, and when he was a baby my parents decided to go the lasik route with him, and both of us have straight eyes now! It was just a weak muscle issue, mine strengthened over time with the glasses, and his was fixed instantly with the lasik! So either way works!

I am extremely petite at 14, 75 pounds and only 4’11. As a child I was just like poot. The one thing I can say is that she will grow up to be extremely beautiful and very special! Wishing the best for all of y’all💗

All the babies around us are hugeee, so it’s nice to hear we aren’t doing anything wrong and we aren’t the only ones with tiny babes!!!

My little girl is almost 15 months and is 17.3 pounds. She was 5lb 7oz when she was born so the dr just kinda contributes it to that. She’s a little eating machine too so it kinda shocked me. As long as she’s healthy, I wouldn’t be worried. My grandson just turned 10 months old on June 9th, he went today for a dr appointment and weighed 23lbs 8 ozs. He’s a tall monster man. she is perfect & healthy
Hi. My son is 5 years old and had the same problem with his eye. We only noticed it from last year. And in March, he had surgery to correct the eye. It was very painful for him but his eye is perfectly fine now!! The eye squinting does affect eye sight as well.

My brother had The Eye turning thing, he wore glasses for a year then got surgery on his eye when he was 5~6, the recovery was fine. His eyes are now normal and is apparently common.

My sons did this and I brought him to the eye dr and turns out he needed a super strong prescription. When his glasses are on his eye never turns. So the glasses worked out for him!

I have strabismus, my mom noticed it when I was young ive worn glasses since I was 18 months old and contacts since I was 5.. I’m 21 now and I still wear corrective lenses, people don’t know unless I tell them but it has definitely weighed on my everyday life so please research everything you can do and all your options.

Just wish Josh could get a word in edgewise...but he sits and waits patiently until Abby is done with sentences that go on and on, never seem to end. He's very considerate, patient, such a good guy. Abby is so blessed to be married to him.

My daughter was 8.5 lbs when she was born. She has always been on the small side, her doctor has never been concerned. She had growth spurts in the summer and gains maybe 1-2 lbs in the winter. She’s 5 and literally the smallest in groups of people. Her dad is tall and skinny so we think she got it from him.

The eye issue you’re worried about I had too! It’s called amblyopia (lazy eye) but not true Lazy eye. It just means the muscle in her eye may be weak. I also wore an eye patch but now I just know to focus it. It usually doesn’t happen anymore. She’ll be just fine! Sending love and prayers xo 😘
Me too! Amblyopia. I’m now 30 and completely fine, no surgery or anything was necessary. I did wear a bandaid patch as a child for a bit but nothing serious.

I got a surgery to fix my eye at two and at three I got glasses. The weirdest thing is at 12 my eyes permanently corrected as I grew. Everything will be fine ❤️
