I’m curious if y’all have heard of/are familiar with Becket Cook and his ministry. That is a channel I’ve followed since it started, and I’ve always appreciated what he has to share on culture/current events/philosophy etc.
I agree. I love Becket’s content and approach to cultural topics, as he’s been in the thick of a lot of the culture from his past. He’s very inspiring and a great voice for the times 😀

I came across your guys channel after being diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. I also have renew my relationship with Christ after dabbling with new age spirituality and witchcraft . I always had a relationship with god when I was much younger but I never fully understood it until now. I enjoy your channel and your videos and this is my first time on Christian UA-cam and I must say it’s very cool and interesting knowing that I’m not the only one who has a relationship with god. I agree with exactly what you were saying about the deliverance ministries. Like the two of you, I also appreciate the passion that comes with deliverance ministries and I used to watch a LOT of them and follow a ministry local to me. However, it started to feel to me like there was SO much focus around the demonic, that it was losing sight from what the Bible instructs us to focus on.
“Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.” Thinking about demons 24/7 and where they could be, and what they could be doing, and who they could be manifesting inside of started to distract me from that pure joy that comes from personal relationship with Jesus. Don’t get me wrong, I still use the name of Jesus to cast out darkness when I sense it, but I don’t feel obsessive about it like I used to.

@frannybkranny8760 It’s very amazing how the Word of God talks about things that people do today and exposes lots of errors that people believe or fall into.
I went to the same college as Spencer Smith. That place had a very solid foundation in the Bible, so of course he is very knowledgeable and very well educated in the scriptures. One of my personal issues with the place is that "love" came across as being mean. There wasnt much compassion for people. I really like that they were passionate about winning souls. Their mission outreach is amazing, but i felt the compassion was lacking. It was more about scaring people out of hell than having a personal relationship with Christ i felt like. But as Morgan was saying about him being intense, i get it 100%.
I follow him for her period of time, and he was definitely intense, and also in some quiches quite the bully. I don’t follow him anymore simply because he started to go in a direction that just was not useful or edifying. His community was extremely toxic and was not a place for civil discussion. Disagree with him on any point you got attacked by his most devoted and loyal followers. they were not afraid to say that you weren’t saved or you were going to hell if you disagreed with him. they also engaged in name-calling. Some of those loyal followers are no longer subscribe to its channel and have shared their extremely negative experiences with him. These former subscribers recommend him now. What you said about where he went to college just give me a little more insight into certain aspects of his teaching him personality so thanks for that.
Guys I'm more on the hyper charasmatic side, so I was a little worried this clip would be going after Charasmatic channels quite a bit.. BUT.. I felt for all of them you made fair and balanced points , with some really interesting and helpful critiques while also showing a lot of grace. I especially love how you handled Jess and Gabe, encouraging more boldness without despising "small beginnings " or what they are already doing. If there has in the past been any criticism that you can be too harsh on people, I feel like you are video by video growing stronger in balancing speaking the truth and showing grace. And in do so, making this channel more and more honourable and wide, no matter what the critics say! Keep it up 🙌🏻 Also, I love Allie too!

The problem with a lot of deliverance ministries... Trying to deliver demons out of Christians, is not biblical. Yes, we can be delivered from anxieties, fears, temptations of whatever, 'attacked' by demons, etc... But, in the Bible, those people getting delivered from demons, weren't saved at first either. As we know, if we have the, Holy Spirit, in us, then there is no room for the devil.
Love what you said about the rest. I pretty much have the same thoughts as you guys on all.

I think isisah salvidar is a bit too harsh on some of his videos including his recent video that I watched this morning but that is just me and that deliverance ministry is not biblical. I didn’t agree with him on what he said on his recent video on doja cat because I think he went too harsh and I was going to comment under the video this morning but I ended up not doing it for good reasons. I respect his conviction on secular music and I don’t agree with him on secular music because it’s not a heaven or hell issue and it’s a conviction issue on secular music. I like secular music but that is just me and I stay away from certain songs like montero by lil nas X and even the recent song demons by doja cat and I like doja cat and I prayed for her last week while I was sick and on my way to work and that what I was going to say under his video but I didn’t wanna be rude or anything or cause anyone to stumble against their conviction and I also am not subscribed to his channel for a long time now but I still watch some of his videos.
I also don’t believe in the marine kingdom at all because it’s not biblical at all
Ruslan is my favorite christian youtuber and it’s a tie with paul and morgan because both of them are very nice and not harsh and hard on Christian’s on videos about doja cat, jordan Peterson, secular movies like barbie, etc. and that all 3 of them seem to be very nice people, no matter if some Christian’s agree or disagree. Ruslan is also cool because of his opinions on things when it comes to pop culture and because of his debate with Marcus rogers.

Yeah I've never watched his channel ever, I've never been interested in watching any channel that is deliverance based, as a deliverance video I watched a few years ago just didn't feel right and learnt that it was unbiblical. I have only seen him on, Ruslan's, channel. Though I don't watch, Ruslan, anymore either. And I only pop in to, Paul and Morgan, when they have certain videos I wanna see like 'Take to the streets,' and other videos. I'll only watch their culture videos when I've run out of stuff to watch, or bored. I'm just not really into watching cultural celebrity type videos. I prefer Christian channels that focus on Bible stuff like, Mike Winger. I don't really care to talk about celebrities. I'm not much of a secular music listener, but I do listen to some and, hey, if a catchy beat is playing on a store's radio, I don't hesitate to bounce along 😂! So, a lot of these celebrities that you've mentioned and, Paul and Morgan, mention I honestly don't know anything about, or have never heard of them!

Really love these breakdowns guys! I will say, I know a lot of people close to Jess & Gabriel (Gabe roomed with someone I knew in LA & Jess grew up with some of my friends on the Sunshine Coast in Aus & I know the guy who filmed their wedding) & I think their content reflects the fun you can have as a Christian couple & that life isn’t boring just because you’re a Christian. To add to that, they don’t just have 1 political system to speak out against, they have 2, as they have lived both in the USA & Australia as a couple & there’s a lot to unpack politically between the 2 countries. I’ve seen a bit of their content where they talk about their testimonies, how they met etc. & it’s really powerful & a large part of why they have the followers they do IMO. Maybe they’re not the loudest, but they’ve been solid in the space for years & have been unwavering & honest when necessary & I think that’s beautiful! I do totally see where you’re coming from though 🙏🏻

Less than 20% of Isaiah’s content is deliverance the algorithm picks it up and displays it most because that is what people are most curious about because pastors don’t talk much about demons…. Just my thoughts guys

I personally do not like Marcus Rogers as a person, he comes vey prideful and doesn’t give me a good impression. I have seen him argue with other Christian’s UA-camrs to prove his point and it’s honestly really disturbing, God needs to work on his pride because nobody would want to hang out with somebody like that and it’s not being mean , it’s just the truth..I feel there still fruit in his life he need to work and that is humility, kindness and he also needs to smile more because he’s always serious and mad all the time that’s just my opinion

Yeah I used to think he was great but then he started talking about baptizing in the name of Jesus only which is wrong. Jesus said to baptize in the name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. That oneness pentacostalism turned me off real quick.
This was a really good video!!! It has been really encouraging with people like Jess and Gabe who have started podcasts because they have been going more in depth about their faith and getting more bold and outspoken for God! I guess the podcast format might also just allow more room to actually go into things more deeply too rather than vlogs! 😊❤️

Okay but if you think about it, most Christians do pick one specific “niche” to focus on whether that be pastoring, prophecy, worship leading, Sunday school teaching.. so I don’t know why we should see it as a bad thing if UA-camrs pick specific topics to focus on.
When it comes to Marcus Rogers I 100% agree. I remember when he said that God told him that Trump was going to be re elected and when it didnt happen he never really apologized. He just backtracked and said that he never said that. I saw tons of other Christians do this and their followers were telling their friends and family with confidence that trump was gonna win again. So many ended up being afraid to face their family and was even questioning their faith afterwards. It was a lesson for me to be really careful about whose content I watch.

I recently started this podcast where I react to different tv shows and occasionally talk about random stuff in life or play a game with friends or something, I can definitely understand the vibe of sometimes just wanting to have a laugh and not always having to talk about religion all the time, it is a great place where everyone can listen and not feel criticised or taking a stand all the time, I definitely have talked about faith especially when giving an opinion or when I reacted to elevation Church’s sermon last Christmas, a definite struggle is creating content that you worry people will be like “but hang on isn’t she a Christian why is she watching that show”? It’s a lot of gray area issues but it really does make you think, but I try to show that I’m growing, not that I’m an atheist that doesn’t believe in God but not that I have it all together and I know exactly what I should/alshouldnt be entertained by/doing/saying etc I wanna show that I’m on a journey no idea if that’s the right view to have but I can definitely relate to content creators who aren’t just making faith based stuff
He may not be part of the “Christian UA-camr space” but Gavin Ortlund (Truth Unites) is an excellent teacher and makes great videos/podcasts. He also engages Catholic and Orthodox people and defends Protestant positions very well and with a focus on peace even through disagreement.

I think everyone(Christians) has their calling/gifts sooo speaking on Isaiah that might just be his calling/his ministry. There are PLENTY of channels that aren’t that way but not as much with deliverance. That’s my take on it!

@@PaulandMorgan I can see the "intense" in it all. I think he is just a no nonsense kind of guy when it comes to this. I may be more sensitive to it as someone who came out of hypercharasmatic beliefs. His videos helped me a lot.
He preaches the truth which is refreshing. Just feel like he could show a little more grace sometimes. But I know his motive is love and wanting God’s word to be spoken which is great.
@@austinp1998 that's true on all counts. I appreciate his content and I believe he speaks out of love for the lost, which doesn't always come across. I've seen him break down into tears discussing how many of the wicked things creeping in are leading SO many away from Christ. His heart appears to be in the right place, and I think some people will respond to that intensity and in fact may need it!

I definitely agree with you guys about people claiming to speak prophecy. I've noticed in the Bible that most of time people speak prophecy it's something believers were very VERY careful with out of either respect for God, the threat to their lives from opposition, or both.
It seems like many self-proclaimed (not that all of them are) are taking that gift WAY too lightly. I've had friends that fell under that category. So thank you both.
The only Christian influencers I've never really felt uncomfortable in the sense of not finding reliable would be Chelsea and Nick who are by no mean perfect, who is? But I think they found a great balance of sharing raw experiences esp as a married couple as well as focusing on their own spiritual development and only speaking when they felt truly called to. I found them reliable and genuine to see ❤

At 10:29.. I think about this often, and the way it came to me to explain it is that it’s one thing to deny the existence of or downplay the reality of spiritual warfare, and another thing to praise, glorify, or to place spiritual warfare/deliverance on a pedestal. Spiritual deliverance should point us back to Jesus, not (almost in a way) become a separate religion on its own (as it seems to be happening with some churches/groups lately).

this is paul and morgan content that i genuinely enjoy because it’s a window into a world that i know very little about.
We talked about deliverance but what really delivered me from the biggest battles was submission to God and repentance. I tried many things and every time came back to the same conclusion. Bible and the pure Word and not processed. Just like food less processed that better !! True strength comes from the Truth

I don’t like what y’all said about Ruslan. He is one of the best UA-camrs out there reaching MANY for the Lord. Like Mike winger except got the cali vibe going.
The reason he doesn’t necessarily choose a side is because there is voting on policy to consider.
Maybe you vote republican across the board. I definitely don’t. You can be a conservative and also vote for social programs and where you believe taxes should go. Not every conservative is all “taxation is theft”.
Also girl defined similar to you guys are not very strong on talking about theology. It seems like just flippantly giving your opinions about scripture.
What about digging into scripture and getting deep into the reasons why we shouldn’t do certain things? Except just “Jesus says so”.
I’m genuinely not trying to be mean I’m just waiting for y’all to mature a bit with your theological content and same with girl defined. That’s why they don’t have many followers.

I personally really like Spencer Smith. I like the fact that he uses the KJV Bible (I consider myself a King James Onlyist). I personally agree with his calling out CCM music. I have a lot of problems with CCM music (I personally prefer the old hymns). I'm happy that you both included him in this video and that you watch his videos 👍.

I definitely think God uses different people to show people different things, especially with Isaiah Saldivar, I definitely think that it can seem consumed with it, but also thinking that each person can have a different calling and I definitely think Isaiah is definitely called in that area!
I really encourage y'all to watch the sermon he preached at global vision the past deliverence conference there!

Guys, the problem is it casing out demons! It’s casting demons out of BELIEVERS.
the ministry of deliverance is FOR believers. if you cast a demon out of an unbeliever, the spirits will come back 7x stronger (matthew 12:45) and unbelievers don’t believe or want deliverancez

Hey friends! I have watched Isaiah Saldivar for over a year, and I'd say he only does deliverance videos a couple times per month and the rest is teaching & testimony. He’s a pastor & knows the word, and based on this video I’m disappointed in you guys- he was not properly represented here. Watch his most recent videos, or even through the last month- it’s not focused on deliverance , it’s a great mix of Bible teachings as well.

I am curious what you would call Mr. Saldivar when he teaches that a Christian who has the Holy Spirit dwelling in them can be demon possessed?
According to him recently, Christians can be oppressed but not possessed, which we agree with.

I pray that Mr. Saldivar speaks out against the false teaching of Christians can be possessed because people in his camp still teach that from what I understand. I have personally stopped watching them all after hearing them teach this sort of stuff.

We are called to be hot or cold not lukewarm. We are walking a straight and narrow road. There cannot be friendshio with the world if you are walking as a disciple, yet you give a pass to certain UA-camrs who don't outright say they are Christians (because they are in the acting world?) but want others who show too much emotion for your taste to ease up? I wonder, how do you observe the Pauline letters? His letters are FULL of emotion and admonishment!

The Stewart Fam is a good blog-style, outspokenly Christian. Devin and Hunter are fairly outspoken about their faith.
They don’t hit a lot of controversial issues because that’s not the style of channel they have, but you don’t have to look hard to see they are Christian.
The Stewart fam have a strong Christian faith form both sides the Bates and Stewart's. And raising their babies up in the Lord

I am often critical of Paul and Morgan, but I love those two no less. It's still a very enjoyable channel. Having said that, this video does provide a good survey of what's out there in terms of Christianity on UA-cam.
Growing up in the church of Christ, a church so "fundamentalist" that even Paul and Morgan would fail out (they have instrumental music in worship and UA-cam isn't mentioned in the New Testament), as strange as this may sound, your video reminds me of a joke.
A new group of people have died, and Peter is giving them the tour of heaven.
They walk down the street and Peter says "here's the Catholic neighborhood" and everybody's on their knees praying and there's a priest there and everything.
They move on and Peter says "here's the Independent Fundamentalist Baptist neighborhood" and there's a library there with only a 1611 KJV bible on the shelf and they don't allow anybody in that doesn't speak perfect medieval English.
They move through the Southern Baptist neighborhood and spot multiple KFC locations. Peter jokes "those Southern Baptists love their chicken"
On down the road Peter says "here's the Assembly of God neighborhood" and everybody is jumping up and down with their hands in the air shouting PRAISE THE LORD. "Lively bunch aren't they?" Peter says as they move on.
Then Peter says "now we need everybody to get really quiet, we're in the church of Christ neighborhood." The group gets puzzled looks in their faces and somebody says "why do we have to be so quiet all of a sudden?" Peter explains "well, they think they're the only ones in heaven. John and I don't have the heart to tell them different."
For those of you that read this far - did you laugh? I wouldn't blame you if you didn't - it's a pretty deep joke.
The point is this: Don't pray for the haters, don't ask the Lord to open their eyes and make them see your point of view (which of course is the right one), don't think less of the haters, don't judge the haters. Love the haters. More importantly, COEXIST with the haters.
Hannah Williamson is nutty as a fruitcake. Girl Defined presents a very skewed view of Christian womanhood. Allie Stuckey's full of it and I can't stand the sound of her voice. I'm just ashamed to admit I listen to Ben Shaprio sometimes. Then there are the nutjob UA-camrs that just don't hide the fact that they're blatent Christian Nationalists. It's no secret that I actually agree with Paul and Morgan a very small percentage of the time. Then you move along the spectrum to the progressive youtubers. Some are good, but they have the loud influencers that are full of it too. Everyone offers one thing, though: spiritual value. That is what we can't forget - it's not a matter of of Brandan Robertson being right and Paul and Morgan being wrong. It's not a matter of of praying for those who view things differently than you do, who may or may not be "haters." It's a matter of taking what UA-camrs offer as having some sort of "spiritual value." Paul and Morgan may not promote "agreeable thought." They do, however, promote "intelligent and spiritually valuable thought."
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (somewhere in 1 Thess)
Jesus saved all people. We have to coexist. It's much better if we find a way to like each other. Nobody is perfect, and everybody offers SOMETHING good. We'll all live in heaven someday and I hope we won't just stick to our neighborhoods. A place where everybody is like me is nice sometimes, but boring a lot of the time. I'll be going to visit the fundies, and I hope the fundies will have a nice latte with me too.
Coexist, people. The UA-camrs Paul and Morgan cover here aren't necessarily all good or all bad, but they are worth visiting. They offer something spiritually valuable, no matter who you are.
Hey just an idea, but you guys should do a video on the harm of looking at political figures as almost gods. I saw so many people act like Trump was going to be a "savior" of some kind where all if our problems would be fixed. While I'm a conservative i really hated how both sides honestly acted like their candidate was going to save them when only Jesus can save. Also you should address the hatred that both the right and left sides seem to have for each other which is not bibilcal. You should also have a democrat on and discuss why they vote left just to see if there might be other reasons for voting that way. And also a video about Trumps statment recently that he was not for an abortion ban and didnt care. These are important topics to cover yet christians shy away and wont address. Considering we are going into an election year these topics should be covered but not in a way that makes every person on the other side of the fence look like an evil person. Instead a conversation with a democrat full of grace and seasoned with salt and even open ears to any truth there may be for both sides. Just an idea but i would definitely watch!!

The only one I watch consistently out of all these (some I never heard of) Is ALLIE!!!! I do like Spencer's take on ccm........................I totally agree. I have studied ccm and I do not buy into it..........Of course there are some nice songs but overall it is just too worldly
What about Jesus? That's what I think about when I consider these questions. What did He do. I think ppl would say Jesus was excessive. He said we would do greater works than Him. He did preaching, teaching, finding the lost and ministering to them, casting out demons, and healing. Was He doing these things daily? Seems like it when i read. I mean....? I don't want anyone to diminish my fire or passion for my relationship with Jesus and what He has called me to do. We are all called to different but the same. Some ppl grew up in church some were saved radically I think that is why the flame burns differently. That's my opinion. I do see what you mean about not being obsessed with demons for sure. We are to have discernement.

Also, Marcus Rogers is NOT a Christian. He firmly denies the trinity.
Isaiah Salad Bar...Doesn't talk at all about scripture or the bible because he isn't trained to do so...That's why he just talks about "revival" and "supernatural" and "deliverance" - whatever the hell those mean...
He has a degree in theology and has loads of videos on his channel going through books of the Bible verse by verse

Isaiah: LOVE him and watch most of his vids. I feel he has grown a lot, matured and balanced out majorly in the last year or so .. he seems to be trying to incorporate all areas and cover the majority of topics
Marcus: I agree with everything you said.
Spencer Smith: I can not STAND the attitude and snarky spirit behind the majority of his videos and comments. I am sorry but where is your grace "brother"?? The pharisaical attitude is really off-putting. I am sorry but I just cannot watch his videos anymore. .
Ruslan: I appreciate that he has a variety of people with different views on his videos to have spirited conversations. I have differed with him on many things but I appreciate the growth and maturity I've seen in his videos. I pray he continues to grow, be open and pursue the deeper things, I can see him really continuing to be used by The Lord if he stays humble,.
Girl defined: i have never watched them but hearing Morgan talk about them the way she did makes me want to check them out!! :)

Based on these comments, I’ll have to check out Spencer Smith but I’ll also be careful based on your comments and the other commenter who hinted that Spencer may be KJV-Only which is a super dumb braindead position.
I was introduced to Isaiah a little while ago but quickly dumped him because he had what I consider to be glaring errors in the “deliverance” methodology and theology, which seems to be his main focus.

Spencer isn't a KJV only for everyone else, he says for him, it is the only one that he uses. Spencer is someone that i started to follow over a year ago, and it has been such a blessing. I love that even if we don't agree on some things, he doesn't make me feel like i HAVE TO conform to him. I highly recomment checking him out. If you haven't seen the Third Adam documentaries, i would encourage you to check them out. They are pretty life changing.
I have made some amazing friends through being a member and i am extremely grateful for his teaching!
I hope that's true about Ruslan being conservative now. A while back, he somewhat criticized or at least questioned the Texas abortion law for not including exceptions for the way the conceptions occurred. He also called David Platt "solid" after Platt made his left-leaning political views known. After Ruslan did those things, I selected the option to have youtube stop recommending his videos to me. As far as I could tell, Ruslan was a Christian leftist, so I had no interest in watching him. Of course, I'm still skeptical that he's actually conservative, because he probably called himself conservative back then, too, but we can always hope I guess.
How about you actually watch those preachers and and tell us why they're NOT false?..id love to hear your take on that..

I stopped listening to Marcus when I realized the unbiblical nature of being oneness (which he is). And encountered the Jesus + works nature of their teachings.

I am not sure if padding someone on the shoulder for a lot of videos and working like a machine is a Good thing. Every’s Christian men nr 1 calling is to be a good husband And father . Is there a time for that ? Sometimes people are addicted to make videos good to ask your self a question is this really Holy Spirt or a dopamine !?

It doesn't matter if you're supposed to have a niche on UA-cam, that is a worldly matter. If you are doing Deliverance on people but not teaching them how to do spiritual warfare so that they can achieve true victory in Christ, you were doing these people a grave disservice. Not to mention teaching that people who are filled with the Holy Spirit can also have demons filling them, and we must go back for deliverance every 3 months to maintain being demon free. I implore you, Paul and Morgan, look into these people more deeply before you endorse them.

It's kind of a lot. I don't really watch much, because there is so much Christian content out there. I am listening a couple podcasts on Spotify, y'all and a couple others. My table is full. I like Jenny Weaver and I am okay with the charismatics lol....I have listed to Marcus Rogers, but don't always agree with him.

I have listened to some excellent Allie Beth videos, but I do struggle to listen to her in general. While I respect her desire to boldly speak the truth, she seems to err in the direction of speaking dogmatically about things she doesn’t understand well. I think that’s a common issue many other political commentators fall into as well. For example, when Allie Beth went on Candace Owens to discuss Catholicism, she went in very confident and preachy, but really misrepresented Catholicism. While I think there are some very legitimate criticisms of Catholicism, she really missed the mark. It was very painful to watch and she did a disservice to Protestantism by engaging in that conversation without being educated on it.

Marcus Rodgers denies basic fundamentals of the faith, like the Trinity. He has been called out about this on many occasions and has rejected this fundamental Christian truth.
He is a false prophet as well. I would not recommend his channel to anyone.

I think isisah salvidar is a bit too harsh on some of his videos including his recent video that I watched this morning but that is just me and that deliverance ministry is not biblical. I didn’t agree with him on what he said on his recent video on doja cat because I think he went too harsh and I was going to comment under the video this morning but I ended up not doing it for good reasons. I respect his conviction on secular music and I don’t agree with him on secular music because it’s not a heaven or hell issue and it’s a conviction issue on secular music. I like secular music but that is just me and I stay away from certain songs like montero by lil nas X and even the recent song demons by doja cat and I like doja cat and I prayed for her last week while I was sick and on my way to work and that what I was going to say under his video but I didn’t wanna be rude or anything or cause anyone to stumble against their conviction and I also am not subscribed to his channel for a long time now but I still watch some of his videos.
Ruslan is my favorite christian youtuber and it’s a tie with paul and morgan because both of them are very nice and not harsh and hard on Christian’s on videos about doja cat, jordan Peterson, secular movies like barbie, etc. and that all 3 of them seem to be very nice people, no matter if some Christian’s agree or disagree. Ruslan is also cool because of his opinions on things when it comes to pop culture and because of his debate with Marcus rogers.
