This is the 2023 model, the 2024 Innova E variant model has a black piano finish along the tailgate, and the 2.8 badging is no longer in there, only the E variant badge is present
Proud innova owner❤
I would still buy this
car/mpv because of its engine. Reliable compared to those 1.5s
@@aloneinthecity_he is saying the 2.8 diesel is better thqn the 1.5 gas. The torque of the innova could easily climb mountains at full lload.
Nice car, thanks for the information. I hope i can buy this car soon.
ang sarap magbyahe ng baguio pag naka innova ka napaka komportable
City driving ba malakas sa diesel saktuhan lang. Kasi pag long distance driving oo matipid tlga. Pero kung city driving daily, same lang din ata if manual or matic
Toyota Innova Rocks!
Ito ang sunod ko na car if magkaron ng budget hehe. Hopefully. Coming from Xpander.
Review long overdue 😂, we have the J variant 2021 "katas ng ofw" hahaha.. luv ur review Roy! Hoka baby 😅
@ZigWheels Philippines PLEASE review the updated 2024 Toyota Hilux G (Conquest look). Thanx.
Going to get the Innova XE this week. Couldn't find a car, even second hand that had more value for money ratio. Nice little engine with a bit of pull, decent amount of space, no frills exterior (who cares if buying MPV unless you want to impress the soccer moms), and basically gets you from A to B in reliable fashion. Price is great and resale value even better. What's not to like really? Compare those points with pricier sexier mpvs and you notice the Innova has excellent value. Of course if you have the budget for a Fortuner or similar and don't need two vehicles you will get a higher end vehicle.
@ZigWheels Philippines Please review Toyota Liteace Pickup and Utility Van. Thanx.
Can you do a review of the XE Variant?
Thanks
One of the best family car in the phils ❤
@ZigWheels Philippines Please review 2024 Toyota Super Grandia Elite. Thanx.
@ZigWheels Philippines Please review 2024 Toyota Alphard HEV. Thanx.
@ZigWheels Philippines Please review Toyota Rush GR-S. Thanx.
@ZigWheels Philippines Please review 2024 Toyota Vios XLE. Thanx.
The new updates for the Innova E involves:
- Dropping the Manual Transmission
-Reverse Camera
-Blacked out trunk garnish
-LED Foglights
- Removing the 2.8 Badge
Are the backup/reverse sensors optional?
In the Philippines, the mother of MPVs. The FX (probably the goat of utility vehicles), and the Revo are "AUVs". There's also the Adventure and the Sportivo as examples. They just have a distinct configuration where the 2nd row bench completely blocks the third row (face-to-face benches), which also acts as the cargo space. AUVs are more truck-like in appearance as well, boxy, narrow, and square-ish.
When the 1st gen Innova came out in 2008, it looked more like a giant car than a truck, with a more rounded, wider, bubble-like design that's a lot roomier in the inside than the AUVs. Plus you have a foldable 2nd row to have complete access to the third row (no more face-to-face benches). Still a PPV at heart with a car-like appearance.
And, as they say, the rest is history. Like the FX that ruled the roads before it, it is now an icon. The Zenix will have big shoes to fill and it hasn't done so yet. I don't own one. But salute to this Philippine icon!
Maybe in the future we'll be thinking of Zenix vs the returning Tamaraw as our MPV optons!
@@ZigWheelsPhilippines Absolutely man! The Zenix is a great car, in my opinion, with a better unibody platform. People just need to give it a chance.
Been driving the XE for two weeks now and I can say it's the best choice as our upgrade car. Base model with POWERFUL engine or top of the line (high tech) with not so powerful engine (Veloz). Peace!
@@renzsers 9-10 km/L in the city, 14-18 kml/L in the highway (12km/L on full 8 passenger with bags). I always reset the average fuel consumption every trip hehe. Okay naman for 2.8L engine.
The innova will be seen in ph roads for quite a long time.
Just like the 1st generation... it is still running up to these days.
Instead of those 7-seaters with 1.5L cap and gas powered, i opted a 2nd hand innova 2.8L. Compared with their HPs and torques, innova is far powerful and its diesel powered. You can never go wrong with the undisputed Innova
the best 8 seater for the price and reliability.
We have toyota napaka sulit ganda pa suspension kahit long drive di basta napapagod emaneho
Ano Sulit piliin for Manual Transmission. Toyota Innova or Isuzu MU-X ?
Purchased a Innova V once the uni body FWD Zenix Hybrid was introduced. Purchased the 2.8 before Toyota phases it out. We have a Prius and don't want another Hybrid or EV. The same goes for Fortuner and HiAce. Shopping for a Fortuner LTD 4x4 or GRS 4x4 at end of this year and HiAce GL Grandia in 2025. I'm fortunate enough to evaluate so many new vehicles. The technology seems great at 1st, it isn't reliable and is costly to maintain for long term. Good for someone who buys a car every 5 to 7 years and is willing to lose money on resale, but i keep vehicles for their entire service life.
bros height make the innova like a toycar
Thats is a 2021 because it has no backup reverse camera and the conduction sticker is right about from 2021-2022 and also check it's papers =>
From the family daily driver to being the designated escorts of self-important weenies being ferried in the standard Land Cruiser. The Innova hss become a staple in the Philippine market. These are so common that you'll eventually see one every 5 minutes! 😂 Well played, Toyota.
Nice but only 174HP 2.8liter for that 3 row seating capacity?🤔
I'll tell you power is good. Same engine with Fortuner but is tuned less. Tried it with 8 adults inside including driver and the torque takes you easy to 100kph and no issues on uphill like Baguio.
To echo the other reply, yes the HP numbers aren't all that but the torque number is what you have a 2.8 diesel for!
Well still no update for innova. Good na sana engine but the wheels is to same. Kaya matagtag pa at maingay sa loob ng cabin
sarap gawing jeep nito hahaha malakas makina eh
grabe ang laki ng tinaas ng price nito. sa friend ko 1.2M lng yang variant na yan bili nya a few years ago.
E variant was before around 1.340 to 1.375 what the hell happened
LOL when he is in the 3rd row seats he is so uncomfortable bcoz of his size but still makes good comments about the car 😂 (you can hear the labored breathing 😅)
It might feel initially heavy for someone coming from a car with light EPS, but we know of many lady-driven Innovas and they had no problem adjusting!
Mas masarap i drive, mas malakas ang AC, mas ergonomic. Just saying.
Pambansang photobomber 😂
That it is! And for good reason, every family and their pets have or at least know someone with a Toyota Innova, I hate to admit it but, I think I get why. It's not a car you dream of getting, but one that just ticks so many boxes!! - Roy
@@ZigWheelsPhilippinespower + realibility + practicality (parts and service availability)
What’s wrong with you ‘tol? 1:22 the Zenix is a TNGA monochassis platform with a 2.0L gasoline engine.
The REAL Innova is an IPV platform with a 2.8L diesel engine.
The only similarity they have is the way Toyota gaslights the dumb into thinking this Zenix is the 3rd gen Innova. It isn’t, it’s a downgrade to the superior IPV platform and tested 2.8L engine.
If anything, the Zenix is closer to, and the MPV version of the Corolla Cross. Both share the same TNGA monochassis platform.
Alis ka na nga jn, ako na mag review. This is like comparing Lindt to Goya then saying the Goya is the 3rd generation version of the Lindt Swiss Chocolate eh.
dude. you cant dictate Toyota. whether you like it or not, Zenix is the Successor of the Innova. just to correct you, the IMV platform (not IPV) is a lame duck. diesel engines with ladder frame on an MPV wont cut anymore. unless youre a baguio taxi or uv express operator.
and to add, your chocolate analogy doesn't make sense. 😂 and does not reinforce you 3 paragraphs of brouhahaha
@ZigWheels Philippines PLEASE review the updated 2024 Toyota Fortuner Q (LTD look). Thanx.
The Innova will forever be cemented as the _unofficial National Car/MPV_ of the Philippines, plainly because it is as ubiquitous as the jeepney, and whether you agree or not, is the only de-facto MPV to buy in a sea of MPVs that had flooded our market. And that's facts.
Preach! Testify! You go! #realtalk - Roy
@@ZigWheelsPhilippineswalang alarm/immobilizer ang E variant diba? Ginago ng Toyota ang madlang people to go for the G variant instead.
Lahat ng Toyota-badged Daihatsu (Vios, Avanza, etc) merong alarm/immobilizer, tapos itong Innova E wala?
With only 3 airbags for 8 seater, this is far behing the Stargazer X
napag iwanan na toyota.. reliability nlng tlga ang pambato kuno
