Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2020 Size: 3-StepColor: GreenVerified Purchase Run.... I bought this product which arrived June 1 st. Once unpackaged it seems to be sturdy but it’s not... I weight 250lbs and the step stool legs just folded under me sending me to the ground. I plead with anyone looking at purchasing g this ladder to be very careful and think twice. It’s not rated for 250lbs let alone 500lbs.
I am around 115lbs so it's been great for me but this is great info and I am pinning your comment in case it might help others. Thanks for leaving this comment.
THANK YOU! I have an Efin 3 step ladder / step stool with tray and I could NOT figure out how to close the damn thing. Mine came with "press here" tabs on each side of the top step which didnt make any damn sense. Turns out all I had to do was the step on the back bar maneuver you taught me and pull up and it worked instantly. You even impressed my partner who's an engineer and got frustrated trying to figure out why it wasn't budging. This was so helpful
@@Ultrameowmeow ditto!!!! Omg I was getting so frustrated 😡 My husband is working away - FaceTimed him…. No help whatsoever 😂😂😂 ( sorry babe, calling you out!) Finally found this wonderful guy! Thank you so much 🤩 As soon as he put his foot on the lower bar, and went to the 2nd step, I was on it! A million thanks again 👍
Are the step platforms are made out of plastic? If so, do you think they can really sustain 500 lbs? That's about double what a standard step ladder could hold.
That is a great question and one I also wondered as well. They are plastic but do feel very solid and reinforced by the design on the underside. I don't know anyone big enough to to test the max load of course but it does seem like a very bold claim. I felt even bouncing on the steps they felt completely solid but I will always question the capacity claim. It was the reason I tried to sort of bounce to exert the most I could manage. Hoped to help people know that to expect as best as I could being on the lightweight side.
@@Tw3akst3r Thanks for the response and for the very helpful video review. Maybe one way to test it would be to put some heavy, equipment on the platform. If you have free weights, you could just stack them on the platform. Even if it's just 350 or 400 lbs worth of stuff, that would prove that the platform is above-the-norm in capacity.
While I had thought about that I don't have any wright's but I am also disabled and cannot lift more than about 20lbs and even that could be a problem. If a friend ever gets a little time off and comes into town his 250 or so lbs would be a good option.
@@Tw3akst3r There's a decent chance I may go ahead and buy this ladder w/in the next few weeks or so. If I do get it, I will try running that free weight test. If I do it, I will let you know how it went.

5:14 if you need guidance on how to fold the ladder once you’re done (I needed this video for help😂)
Thank you!
5 days later, I had to come back and watch this video again because I forgot how to release the safety. God Bless You.
lol it just saved me a ton of time trying to figure it out too. Five stars :)
Another review not showing assembly process. I'll keep searching!

That'd be great, thank you. I'm really curious how it'll play out.
