Thank you! In fact, we are already tired of the snow here as well, but at least there was a decent winter in Estonia for several years. And as a passionate motorcyclist, I am already looking forward to spring. Thank you again, and I wish you all the best.
Nice!!! Smart move to remove the bucket and build off of loader frame. Simple, strong pivot system as well. I made a blade to attach to the bucket for mine but your setup is much more versatile. I'll be on the lookout for an unwanted old plow blade to get started on.
Thank you! The plow attached to the bucket is not really good i think. the closer the plow to the tractor the better it is. And in fact I try to turn the plow hydraulically before the coming winter. Good luck to you in finding a plow and thank you for watching.
@@normalguydoesitall Hi Again, I have found a plow!!!! $50 for a 8ft X 26" which I plan to cut down to 6ft. Can you advise what material you made the frame from? Tubing? Bar stock? Love your pallet barn!!!
Make sure you have enough room for the whole season ! Push it way back. Otherwise you won't have room for the next however many snow's come !!!!!! Once they freeze , they're solid for the season !!!!--- just a fyi !!!!!!
Hey, thanks for the good advice, Estonian winters are unpredictable, some years there is little snow, some years there is a lot of snow and then you have to throw a lot of snow. Thank you for watching!
the plow was a good choice, I was going to buy the plow but my driveway is rather short so I just use the loader, where do I find side mirrors for my Yanmar SA324, I'm in NY, USA but any info you have would be greatly appreciated , tks
Hey, yes the plow is good and necessary for me. I have mirrors from the factory, these are European requirements, if you research your dealer you suddenly manage to get it, maybe? all the best!
Sí, ha habido mucha nieve este invierno, hay muchos beneficios para el tractor. Yes, there has been a lot of snow this winter, there are many benefits to the tractor.
Great! Your angle being adjustable, you may like to put even more angle on it. It seems counterproductive, as the front end is being pushed away, but it will roll away the pile. Then the snow pile in front of the plow is then smaller. Slower vehicles work best with a higher angle. Thanks!
Thank you! You may be right about the angle, because when the snow is in front off the plow then the tractor does not turn almost at all (when the plow is in the floating position) But in the future I will add a hydraulic cylinder with which I will start to change the angle, then I do so that I can make the angle bigger. Thank you again!

Hey, sorry for a late answer. I used a regular square tube 5x5cm and 2.5x5cm (2"x2" and 1"x2") wall thickness could be thicker than usual, I used 4mm (0.15 inch). if you have any more questions please write. Thank you!
@@normalguydoesitall Thanks!!! Thats approximately the sizes I had in mind. I took a few screen shots from your video and are using them to plan my frame. The plow I found is quite heavy so I want to be sure to use strong enough material. Also thinking of building it closer to the mounting point - out far enough to allow a good angle, but closer in to minimize possible flexing - Merry Christmas from Agawam MA. USA
Hey, I don't know, mine came from the factory, it's a European version. if you look closely, there are even more differences. roof is self made ;) Thank you!
Hey, yes i have a differential lock. but neither does it help on very slippery land. i used screw studs in the rear tires but even better would be chains. however, lawn tires also have better grip on snow and ice ;) All the best to you and thanks for watching!
William A your 424 does have a rear wheel lock. To engage it press the brake pedal half way down. Yours is the older version, they changed it on the newer models, because no one that they had one. It was hiding.
Your farm is situated in beautiful countryside. A frustrated Canadian motorcyclist, I’m sick of snow, but still enjoyed your video.

@@tomgordon4395 The answer then under the second question.
I don’t get a lot of snow usually, using a box scrapper and bucket for now. See how it goes. I like your plow, thanks for the video!
Thank you!

Is this snow blade made by Yanmar or someone else?
Hey, go see my other videos, I made this blade, DIY ;)
Are you in 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive, and high or low?
Hey, always doing such work in 4 wheel drive and low gears. I use high gear only on the road. Thank you!
Those mirrors...... Where/ how do I get them?

My 424 doesn’t have rear wheel lock 🔒 for your left foot do have it?if not how is it for plowing?

I like put chains on but only on front there is barely any clearance on 424 my luck I hit rear fender and destroy it.
