yea i thought of that idea to minimize luck, otherwise you have to get it close to the well to not lose "usefull" time. But this strat rely more on skin walker attack timings.

after a certain time, the skinwalker is programed to just leave the grounds, even if the pumpkin character goes out way too early. you saw how the skinwalker momentarily went for the character but then ran away and left the first time he appears. his time was up and the speedrunner knew that
Using the clown as an opportunity to go around and harvest the upper left plants was a really efficient use of time! Great run!

i had a 14:40 run where peter spawned on the second day, so there we are theoretically around 20 sec off of sub 14

its always random how much time he hunts I wait around 15-20 seconds after he appears and the go out, when i feel it I go out
