That’s def your skin because on me it’s beautiful, elegant and clean.
Two other guys just did a review and said the same thing. They described it almost exactly as I did.
@@IAMCDB and I know 20 other people who describe it the same way I did.
@@nramadhin88 yes. That's the thing about fragrances. They don't all work for everyone.
Subbed, love the honesty
Thank you so much Mark. Welcome sir!
Hi Chris, I appreciate that you always give your honest opinion, and update when necessary. Fragrances being so subjective, I’m sure that someone who loves that frag will want to trade with you.
Thank you, Stuart. I did unload it already. I told then person I didn't like it and made sure they wanted it first:)
This was a nice little change of pace, please consider more fragrance review videos in the future!
Thanks so much for the kind words. I'll probably never dive into that, but I appreciate the kind words.
That's why it's hard to recommend or judge scents & fragrances ; very subjective. Great video Chris! Sometimes a "flanker" in a line will keep the DNA of the original, and sometimes it's like "why would they put that in this fragrance family? It's not event close". Decants and samples are the way to go!
You are correct my friend. This is on me, I should have gotten a sample first. I figured this one was can't miss though:)
@@IAMCDB thank you for your honesty, I ordered early to get the discount as well, I will be selling mine soon as possible, this 1 was a horrible creation. You can really tell who are the reviewers that give dishonest reviews sayin how great any fragrance is that George comes out with just to receive free bottles, to me this is what take away from wanting to watch certain fragrance reviewers...this is why I only check out the channels of fragrance reviewers who do really care to much for free bottles because their viewership comes from those who really trust their honest opinion, an opinion that is not given based on if they aren't going to receive anymore free bottles if they give a review of their fragrance that is anything other than positive...so again, thank u for your honesty & transparency...this fragrance just wasn't it, but I do enjoy some of Zaharoff's other offerings, I have Signature Tabac & The Siren which both are very nice, I also have a small sample of Signature Rose which I love, that one is full bottle worthy & the one I should have went with instead, no more blind buying from Zaharoff for me just based off how intriguing the notes are, I'll just have to waiting until samples are available & then pay full price if it's any good
Yeah that's a wise thing to do! You should always try before buying if it's a option
100%
Hey Chris, Sorry this didn’t work out. I had my eye on this and tabac but didn’t try any of them yet. Hope you have a great week
You might love this one, it's just not for me:)
I'm very sketch on buying frags, this has happened a few times too many for me.
Try before you buy, however possible, is the way to go.
I should be as well:)
You'll definitely be able to recoup your cost by reselling. George's stuff is in demand. I know what you mean with this review. You certainly wouldn't like Royale X then. It's mostly what you smell in the dry down. I like it though.
I never look to get my money back. I already moved it for just a hair over half the price:)
Fair, but trust me. You even offer at what you paid if it was the presale price and you'll get it back.
Hey, i don't know if your a Rose scent fan but i won the Zaharoff Rosé on Shave Line NBD. I'm not a big rose fan but if you are and wanted to trade for that Citrine i would be willing to trade. I only sprayed it like 2-3 times.
I already moved it:) I appreciate the offer though brother:)
@@IAMCDB oh ok. No prob. 😁👍🏼
Sometimes I like some perfume on other people but when I try it on myself, it goes: "Urgs 🤢". But sometimes it is also the opposite way. I had this for example with Tom Ford Beau de Jour. Tried it on paper: "Oh nononono." But some of it landed on my finger. When I returned home from shopping, I was: "What is it here that smells so nice?" 😅
Absolutely. This could be a situation where it just doesn't agree with me. One thing is for sure though, the citrus goes fast:) It does not linger.
I always buy samples of soap and aftershaves before buying full size as have to pass my wife's scent test to see if she likes it or not.
That's an excellent policy, at least the former. I don't concern myself too much with what the wife prefers, as she's not wearing it:)
@@IAMCDB Yeah if she doesn't like it and I use it she won't come closer to me lol. So have to obey her to keep the home happy!
@@joescully8951 I sometimes use this to my advantage:)
May all being be healthy, be well, be free!
Again, I am sorry that it didn't work out for you. Just like you have said that artisan soapmakers should sell samples so that if the scent doesn't work for the biuyer, then they aren't out too much money. I think your advice should be heeded by perfumers as well. Everyone's skin chemistry is different so when it comes to scents, the old saying that one man's trash is another's treasure definitely applies. Enjoy the day.
I should have gotten a sample on this one, that's on me:)
You just never know, even if you have a sample. I've had a few that the sample was great, but the splash didn't quite smell the same. Dry down, your body chemistry, your specific sense of smell, and your history with scents. You might be able to do a trade with a Frag head and get something interesting or I'm sure you could sell it. Bummer.
I already unloaded it:)
@@IAMCDB Lol-That was as quick as Khalifa!
@@lastshadow9351 True.
That's a pity for a promising sounding scent. Personally I don't like to buy EDT/EDPs blind and tend to buy non-Artisan ones that I can sample locally.👍😎🤟
It's a bad move to buy them bind I think:)
That’s a downer Chris, Sometimes fragrances smell good on the opening like this did for you,but the dry down starts to bring out the mid and base notes that didn’t mix well with your skin chemistry. It’s definitely a YMMV situation.
This one was definitely a miss on the dry down. It happens sometimes:)
Truth is power 👍
It is indeed:)
You have to say it as you see it. Too bad it didn't work out.
Thanks Steve, I appreciate it sir!
I know Zaharoff parfume very very cool.
Thank you, sir!
@@IAMCDB Thank you Sir
Dang Chris, you look like you've really lost weight recently. But it's understandable considering the stress you've been going through. Good grief, $145 for that stinko! I think it's idiotic for something like that to be priced to where they have installments, lol.
The good news is that I've deliberately been dropping weight:)
Wow, that’s lousy the dry down didn’t meet expectations
That's ok, it happens sometimes:)
Thanks for the review, Chris. We can’t like them all.
My pleasure, Bill:)
Fancy Arko scent?? Hahaha
It smells nice on the opening but the dry down went south for me.
