wah wah wah, priest could have easily called it a day when rob left but instead they replaced him with ripper who filled the void nicely and went on with a different vision,it may not have pleased the die hard halford fans but at least they stayed together and made music.
Halford quit the band, and when his solo career was a flop came back. I don't get the hate for Ripper he did a hell of a job, and was just as good if not better than Halford.
Halford's solo career was no flop. Fight (with Scott Travis on drums) was amazing... I can't see any true metal fan bashing War of Words at the very least (sold over 200,000 copies in the US and hit 83 on the BIllboard top 200--a feat that not very many 80s metal acts could claim in 1993), and so was Halford. I'm not here to bash anything Priest ever did, so I won't. I think Jugulator was an amazing album, too. By comparison, it peaked at 82 on Billboard and sold 400,000. But that is with the brand of Judas Priest behind it, not built from nothing. In terms of reaction to live shows pre vs post reunion, that pretty much speaks for itself. "Just as good if not better" my ass. But no sir, it did not "flop." Nor did he come from a cover band or graduate to a band like Iced Earth. One is a legend and the other isn't. Name one thing in your life that has approached anywhere near that greatness or had that kind of following, and I'll come back here and tell you I am wrong.
Its not judas priest. Its a new band and accept it. The original stew that made Judas Priest great is missing one ingredient. Its judas 2.0 to me . Lets see if he can fill Robs shoes. Time goes by ppl get old but the legacy of metal lives forever.
It was a loosing situation, Tim could have been a very good Singer with a band of his own but trying to replace Rob was impossible, Rob was and is the main reason Judas Priest is what it is.
All the people defaulting to halford being a better singer just because he was the original one for the band. The sad truth is that Tim Owens is a way better and more versatile singer than Halford.
nada que decir de Judas priest pero tim rippers owens le da la fuerza...y me importa una hectárea de pico lo que digan los hatford lovers...ala mierda..lo mejor que pasó por Judas ..tim rippers owens
O.my God!I,m respect Ripper and Isaw them 2001 year on the Gods of Metal in the Milano,Ripper was a good but He is not like a Halford,He made some mistake in voice on the some songs,That,s mine personal opinion like a die hard Priest fan since 82 year!!
as a musician i will say i respect tim but he never had his own personality. He is not rob. Halford is like the Highlander there can only be one. I would love to see him do something that is not simply trying to impersonate a true metal god
Ripper is an awesome vocalist
Ripper eats gummy bears out of Halford’s ass.
@@WhoGitDaBiscuit probably the reverse knowing halford
@@bigbo1764 yeah, well. You have a valid point.
I'm listening to 70 percent Halford 30 percent dio
I think he did a damn good job Halford's vocals are no easy task
Excelente cantante, hace ver que es muy facil cantar estas canciones. Total bestia del metal.
Ripper is awesome!!! He´s not just a Substitute.
tim ripper owens fit the band like a glue, amazing singer back his days on judas priest
THAT BASS!!!!!!
Esta versión en vivo con este maestro vocalista es demoledora, majuestuosa, rompecráneos 🤩🤩🤩
Simply amazing!
Wow, one tone lower sounds fucking epic and powerfull. Nice job, Tim.
well done, Ripper, well done....
The priest rules
kudos to Scott& Ian for still handling Priest low end!
El batako formidable.
He did nice job as him
wah wah wah, priest could have easily called it a day when rob left but instead they replaced him with ripper who filled the void nicely and went on with a different vision,it may not have pleased the die hard halford fans but at least they stayed together and made music.
former rocker just like the Tommy Thayer haters.
former rocker. Agree
Perfect time!
Grandissimi
Kpax ROB HALFORDS solo project was brutal and for Tim the Ripper Owens he brought alot of energy to Judas priest..!!🤘🤘🤘😎😎🔱🔱⚜️⚜️
Tim "Ripper" Owens simply Fantástic 🎤😎👊
Uno de mis vocales preferidos de toda mi vida 🤘😈

This guy is quite good anyways. I love ripper.
Well done, Ripper......
atkins ripper halford, epic in their own right lucky to have them
I believe him ❤
Halford quit the band, and when his solo career was a flop came back. I don't get the hate for Ripper he did a hell of a job, and was just as good if not better than Halford.
kpax45 rob was the "priest of metal" . This commin from a guy who plays jazz funk.
kpax45. I totally agree with you.
Love the Ripper.

@@carlswart7310 i agree 100% fight was way ahead of its time as well, both albums stand up still.....
2:07--¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ripper is ace..wished they hv done Cathedral Spires in this concert.
Tim did a good job!!! not halford, but dam good anyway.
if I watched with my eyes closed I would think it's Rob lol
oh, yeah..... - this guy sounds as much Rob Halford as he does Madonna.
Ripper is Ripper, the best show ever.
He's good gotta admit
Ripper rules
Not Rob Halford, but pretty good
@neil17z ripper saved 2 big bands , thanks to him we still have judas priest and iced earth , so i totaly agree :)
You have got to give it up for Ripper, saved their bacon, and you can understand what he is singing.
He can't be compared at all with Rob. The voice of Rob is blessed to change while singing at will. Also his outfit is nothing comparing with Rob's.
i am sorry i love rob he belongs there but damn tim does too
magaling
闇に葬り去られた時代
Why is the ripper in every single video with judas??!
@ChrisCraftJohnny lol american chopper wheres mikey must be on keyboards
Ooo im lates
Whos that vokalis

Not Rob Halford. Thats for sure...
man some of the his screams are robs..
Its not judas priest. Its a new band and accept it. The original stew that made Judas Priest great is missing one ingredient. Its judas 2.0 to me . Lets see if he can fill Robs shoes. Time goes by ppl get old but the legacy of metal lives forever.
Ripper kicks ass. Should have kept him.
You can actually hear the bass!!
the Ripper albums were not good at all. but he is phenomenal on the mic.
Nothing in common.
The god of metal can't be replaced!
It was a loosing situation, Tim could have been a very good Singer with a band of his own but trying to replace Rob was impossible, Rob was and is the main reason Judas Priest is what it is.
It's always been Glenn and KK. The vocals will always be good, but the guitar mastery will always be Glenn and KK.
All the people defaulting to halford being a better singer just because he was the original one for the band.
The sad truth is that Tim Owens is a way better and more versatile singer than Halford.
He's not better, I suspect you never heard Rob live in his prime and to compare Ripper with 70 year old that's been touring for 50 is just silly.
Ripper's voice actually has power, he's not Halford but Ripper live is better than Halford live nowadays.
These two albums they made with Tim were a mountainous pile of garbage, but that man is awesome!!! He's killing those live performances
Ripper was great but they did drop tune for him.
I have to admit I havent followed Priest since I was in high school many years ago. That haven been said, Who the fuck is this dude?????
No idea who that singer is?
Jesus.......... what is That?
nada que decir de Judas priest pero tim rippers owens le da la fuerza...y me importa una hectárea de pico lo que digan los hatford lovers...ala mierda..lo mejor que pasó por Judas ..tim rippers owens
That short period when this band had a real vocalist.
Rob=Judas
O.my God!I,m respect Ripper and Isaw them 2001 year on the Gods of Metal in the Milano,Ripper was a good but He is not like a Halford,He made some mistake in voice on the some songs,That,s mine personal opinion like a die hard Priest fan since 82 year!!
HaHaHa, who the fuck is that? LOLOLOL
He's better than Rob Halford
eine oktave zu tief ;(
Ripper is great but doesn’t have Hanford stage energy.
Ripper лучший !Без однополого дерьма
Preferred Rob on this... sorry 🤘
as a musician i will say i respect tim but he never had his own personality. He is not rob. Halford is like the Highlander there can only be one. I would love to see him do something that is not simply trying to impersonate a true metal god
Prefer his voice in the mid range compared to Halford but Ripper is a boring frontman has shit stage presence
the mix is pretty bad.. drums too high, Tipton's guitar's almost inaudible ...
The Halford and Judas Priest Main
but ... Ripper Owens was wronged her voice and excellent
Halford forever
Nice try.
Halford >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Owens
i don't like this guy! i want halford...and now we got halford
Meh....
Crapy... Vocals. You are fired!
rob who
