Ok I apologize in advance if this sucks. Octavia is bada$$! She isn't selfish at all in my opinion. She didn't get to be involved with the Sky people, she lived in the floor,her mother floated,and then detained. She was accepted into the Tree people through Lincoln and began to understand them and found her place to be who she always was meant to be. She fought for others,her brother, Lincoln, and her friends at Mt. Weather. She could have ran away with Lincoln in the first season, but told him no to protect her own,even after how she was treated on the Arc. I think her character is very becoming, great song too ;)
