I’m having my baby boy Fluffy put to sleep in an hour, I keep crying and panicking. I don’t want him to go!. But he has a brain tumour and he has no quality of life left, He was always so playful and no he looks in pain and sad. My dog Benson died last July too, I’m sure he’ll be waiting at the gates of heaven for Fluffy so he’s not alone and their be together ❤

I just had my sweet angel put to sleep. He would have been 9 years old the end of this month. He had cancer that was spreading. I miss him so much . He was my baby, my world. I had him cremated. It is still fresh , Hass only been 2 weeks
so sorry for you loss!!! My Doberman has been gone for over 10 years now.....and I STILL miss her...I have had MANY dogs...and they all took a part of me, but my Dobie took everything i have.....she WAS my heart!!! I will never be the same again.
Thank you for what you do!!! I would love to be a vet but i think it would be SOOOOO hard to put animals down....I know it is the right thing to do and have been through it MANY times but it is just so sad.....poor babies!!! but we are doing the best we can do for them!!!
Please try to stay with your pet, many animals really just want to know that you're there and things are okay. It can be hard, but it's worth it for them. They deserve it.

Just had my dog put to sleep.I was prepared before I toke him to the vet, he was walking but picking at his food, he was not acting his self, vet told me he had a big tumour. He was a 16-17 year old staff, last few month he started to go down hill. I just wonder what I could of done different to prevent him getting a tumour

Unfortunately, cancer (which causes tumours to develop), is when a cell inside the body multiplies uncontrollably, with no purpose. Don't be too hard on yourself. It sounds like you were a great owner to him ❤️
I don't think there is ANYthing that you could have done different....you obviously loved him!!! That is a long time for a dog to live. I was once told if we all live long enough....we would all die from cancer....i think i believe it!! You have been a great dad to this precious baby!!!
I am watching this because my 10 year old sheltie is going to be put to sleep tomorrow and I have been crying for an hour while I pass his last hours with him and I am pretty sad because he was in good health last week but his condition got worse within days and I feel terrible because I don’t want him to go😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

But sometimes euthanasia is the only way in which we can ease our beloved companion’s pain and suffering. 💔 Letting them slip away quietly and peacefully can be an act of kindness to a much-loved companion. 🐾
If you're on certain benefits it is the cost of a donation. I had my dog put to sleep at my local PDSA clinic and the staff were wonderful and explained what would happen.
Aretha Franklin Whitney Houston well it costing me 90.00 then cremation 140 in a Beautiful box his name and ashes he’s well with it! I am devastated my buddy my friend for life! I will miss him dearly 😪💔🐾😪💔🐾

He spends his days just sit and sleep and walks only to urinate. But he doesn't show sign of pain, just tired. Do you think I should proceed with euthanasia? Or should I force feeding him until his natural death. I don't know what to do.

Anyone who puts animals to sleep is stupid and evil. They will regret it later on. I do not care if you do not want the animals to suffer. I never had time to have a pet. If my pet was sick, I took it to a naturopathic doctor for animals, not medical doctors.
