- The Labour Government turns 100 days old on Saturday - a date seen as a key early milestone for any government since Franklin Roosevelt became US president in 1933.
Governments traditionally seek to set a positive, dynamic tone in their first 100 days, targeting quick, visible actions that can establish a narrative about what they are doing and where they are going.
Sir Keir Starmer’s government has been no different, making a series of commitments about its first 100 days before and during the election.
Talk’s Alex Phillips says: "This lot aren't fit for purpose."

In Days of Old they would not be in Government by now. There heads might well have been in there hands as the gentleman said.
In my long life I've seen good governments and bad ones, that have been liked and disliked by the majority of the public but I've never seen a government like this that is actually hated by the majority of the public

Starmer was fine and felt " Safe " , sniping from the side-lines ( at every thing ) , in opposition , but now he is in the Top job , and the spotlight is on him , he can no longer hide , and having been exposed , as not only empty-headed , but incompetent in the job , only confirms , he was just all talk , and no " Balls " .
The next 4+ years will see this nation plunged into a political wilderness.... it's not going to be pretty.

When Starmer was asked if he was going to let go of the Falklands in parliament he said they were personal to him as his uncle's was in a boat that was torpedo'd but it turns out no boats were torpedo's. Another lie?

No he lied, I made a comment on that, again noballs starmer all about himself spouting off about the Falklands, yet he never mentioned any of the soldiers who were burnt so badly or lost their lives during the conflict, he's a ignorant and cold man, and liar.

It also seems to suggest if he didn't have a family member in the Falklands War he wouldn't give a toss about the Falklands. So I guess unless Starmer has no personal connection to it then that's Gibraltar screwed...

Scotland had 19,000 more deaths than births in the year to June 2023, and Wales recorded 9,500 more.
In contrast, there were 9,800 more births than deaths in England, and 2,500 more in Northern Ireland .

Hi Alex, I just want to say that I feel angry every time Angela Rayner uses Working class as an excuse for her behaviour. Anybody who works, whatever their profession, is in my opinion in that category. What does she mean does she mean the Not working class? Shouldn’t she just understand that she has been put into a position where she represents this country and should think before she acts?

In the year 2000 the Population was 58 Million. Today its Over 68 Million and Growing. Thats almost a 20% Increase in the Population. Which is the Size of Over 330 UK Towns with a Population of 30,000. The West Midlands Area covers (8,480/sq miles) and has a Population of 2.928 Million. Thats a Third of the 10 Million they have let in. Wonder why the NHS have 11 Million waiting for treatment, And why we have a Housing Crisis, Even the Net Zero Figures Increase, Benefits and Social Security Increase. The Whole Infrastructure of the Country has Failed.

In any other profession a decision or act which - as a consequence of that individuals actions - results in death, is an act of gross negligence. People will die this Winter as a result of Starmers decision to abolish Winter Fuel Allowance and for that he should be held criminally accountable.
