For anyone that doesn’t care about tail light you can actually re rout the original lights in the bumper to the stock headlight housings, they just pop in, and you can cut the bumper down for better clearance
Thankyou for showing me this! Didn't know it was that simple. I'm currently debating on doing my hightrail proscale lights since I have everything. You have a new subscription 😅
I’m glad it helped, That is so good to hear! Thanks for the subscription! Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see!
@@goreyboggs if you have a hightrail a brief video of a proscale installation, the instructions are kinda confusing to me haha. I want to attempt but I have 3 full packages for this truck to install
Next thing you need to try is the crawler gearbox/set. See how much more controlled you can get it 😍 I’m lovin these M videos. Keepin me excited for mine
I think I actually have that gearbox! Lol. I’ll try and get something out this week!
my first nitro was an ofna ravager. great car. never a problem with it. sold it and got a traxxas slayer. still l have it. great nitro truck. the lights look great. I love how quiet the truck is too
That is awesome, I wish my first was a Traxxas Nitro. They really were ahead of their time!
@@goreyboggs I rebuilt it as a Pro a few years back. I think I got it in 2010 and only on second engine. The 3.3 is a little beast and cheap too
Spread the word. The scx24 brass wheel weights fit inside the stock trx4m rims. They are a bit loose, but I put them in backwards and there is no binding or rubbing. Almost looks like a big brake disc from underneath. It didn't crawl all that well before, this little bit of weight made a huge difference.
I had the Duratrax Maximum MT Pro when I was like 12/13. It was a nitro 2 speed truck. That was my first real rc. It was a little complicated to keep it tuned and running. I ended up wrecking it pretty bad and never fixed it.
That is awesome! I do remember that truck, it was still available when I got my Overdrive. It’s hard for me to buy Duratrax tires because of how bad that RC was. I’m glad they don’t make RC’s anymore! Lol
How well do the headlights fill the light buckets? Does it fill the entire space like it would on the full size bronco or the 1/10th trx4 bronco? Hard to tell with camera glare
Yea I noticed camera is having problems🫣. They are leds behind the lenses. They look very good.
Neither one of my rear light buckets ever “tightened” either. I didn’t overtighten either, feels like they should have included longer screws for all of them instead of just the fronts.
What a bummer maybe you could go to the Hobby shop and pick up some longer screws or maybe a little bit wider. 🫣. Seems to be the way this always works out for us.l Good guys.
How much do the lights shorten the run time?
I have not noticed a difference yet. I really do t think we will as these leds are low voltage. They can also be turned off very easily.
Nice video. I have the orange Bronco with the light kit and recently purchased the gray/silver Defender and installed the light kit on that. I noticed right away the Defender does not have the bleed through around the headlights and tail lights like the Bronco does. I took the lights out of the Bronco and painted the inside of the body flat black. It looks much better now.
Great idea on painting the inside of the body
