You're obviously extremely blind or have not lived here for 20 years and been on the water. This has completely destroyed the local Harbour !! Extremely sad, and this is why it's banned all around the country
@@donutsgarage5716 papamoa my bro we've broken 13 nz records for fish all in the harbour. average 50 kingies per summer, biggest being 40kg on the dot, check tauranga game fishing club wall 😉 ,4kg trevs,3kg ky, 15lb snaps it's fairly good I would say. the rena did way more damage. 20 years ago there was so much sea lettuce the harbour was in a way worse state. you should thank these guys for netting it all up. that's clear to see, if you're not blind that is.
@@DogFish-NZ that shows your knowledge you think they net up to sea lettuce? And take it out of the water..... You can catch fish grate but you still don't know the damage.... probably never done research or spent time doing proper research in the water over 20 years. If it's not that bad at all then why is it not done another harbours??
@@donutsgarage5716 my brother is a marine biologist mate. I've helped him study the feeding habits of kingfish in that harbour specifically lol. so yea research aye The sea lettuce was a joke. go buy ya fillet o fish and leave the crying to the Karen's.
@@DogFish-NZ absolutely right don't catch fish and don't want to anymore too sick from seen all the damage done. From fishing for big companies to completely no fishing at all. If only people could really see the damage done and there ego not to get in the way

But no big deal you won't care about the ocean in the environment. It's not like they banned this for any reason. Once in awhile, step out of your own garage get your head out of the toolbox and see what local companies are doing to the environment, never met one person at any local fishing club that agrees with this
