Thanks for this info, it's really eye-opening! I'm wondering about buying leather and wool/silk vintage or second hand... which I love to do so I'm a little right now! Do you have any info or thoughts on this? I love vintage because I feel like it's way better for the planet on one hand, and that the damage to animals/labor force/the environment has already been done (SADLY!!)... but now I'm wondering have the toxicity, pesticides and chemical levels dissipated over time?
that's still unknown unfortunately. There's alot of opinions re that issue.
