I used to do this thing where I'd just sit for a long time not necessarily meditating on scriptures, but I'd look for scriptures in the bible and imagine what it'd be like if they were fulfilled in my life, especially concerning specific events. Sometimes, it'd feel so real and I'd feel genuine joy in my heart. The hardest part of it was coming back to reality and seeing that things were still the way they were. It felt like I was living in my head! It eventually became too painful, so I had to stop! But I see now that it's a process!
you have to add prayers, ask God to shine His face on that issue, search the scriptures, then speak the words that God quickens to your heart as you continue to mediate. dont give up
