  • From New York To Running Ghana's Best Reviewed Restaurant in Accra ( West Africa ) | Luckie Lawson
We interview Luckie Lawson , popularly known as an actress , movie director and business woman. Luckie moved from New York to Ghana with her family and has established one of Accra's best restaurants for local food with a touch of class , called Mangos or Mango ase.
We delve into life in New York compared to Ghana, what it's like running a restaurant in Ghana and the inspiration behind her success.
Her story is very inspiring for Africans in the diaspora who want to move to Ghana or people who want to visit Ghana and know about good places to eat or possible business ventures in Ghana.

One of the nicest people. I loved this restaurant and was anxious to bring my husband. He was not served the meal he ordered, but this lady, the owner came and deeply apologized making everything right. Coming back again. Great enterpreuner.

Thanks for showcasing Mangos restaurant! I was at this place in Dec 2019 - the food was so good that I kept the receipt and still have it with me in Canada just to remember the name.

Ladies, you have JUST point me, a descendant of African slave, to where my grate grandmother family originated. When you mentioned grinding with a stone and the way your grandmother influences you, it made me remember my grandmother. She taught me to grind pepper, garlic, and other herbs with a stone on a stone in the same way

I hope that ordinary people in Ghana are getting job opportunities without bribery.
Jobs should be offered without having to pay to acquire it.
Next time I shall go, looks like a nice place.

Black women, remember you are not worker mules. No one should require you to work yourself to the bone. Women are worthy to be cherished and to live the soft life. Break the mind programming that leads you to believe you must have one, two and three jobs and serve everyone first with yourself last. That is not what the Creator intended for women, but rather, “worker mule” mentality is a modern construct that is placed on black women while women of other races are allowed to relax into their feminine role. Being the Provider in the home is masculine energy. Let the men be masculine. Physics shows us that two masculine energies cannot coexist in the same space, they repel each other. Therefore, do not force unnatural energy in your life. Let the men be masculine. Let the women be soft and lean into their feminine. The balanced energies create a polarity which the family and children benefit from. Stay discerning! ❤️💫🌍
