Sometimes I feel small when I see others play guitar so much better then me. This time it feels good Justin plays with so much joy no hustle or showing off.
PRS will have sold a fair number of these off the back of this video alone, beautiful looking and great sounding parlour for a great price and the perfect guitarist to show off its qualities. That's how you do an unboxing
If they’re anything remotely similar to the electrics I guarantee you they feel incredibly well made and just super easy to play. I have a few SE electrics, and the quality is just outstanding. Hard to explain but you can feel it when you play it’s well made. Especially for the money. Super easy to set up as well. Very, very few tweaks and they just fall into place when doing a setup.
i rarely comment on vids, but i wanted to express all my gratitude towards you. You inspired me to start playing slide and blues guitar. I bought some of your courses and will definitly buy more of them as i make progress. Thank you for being such an inspiration to us. Greetings from France !
thank you so much, it warms my heart that you saw, read and liked my comment :) keep stayin awesome and humble as you are, bless you. edit : i'm a 20 year old fan ^^, you are able to reach all audiences
Wow, I was just looking at an ad for that guitar the other day. Now I see it in the hands of one of my favorite players. I've never tried a PRS acoustic but this changes my mind. Thanks.
The guitar sounds great both acoustic and with the pickup. I think the big sound and beautiful tonality of Parlor guitars is due to the more efficient transfer of picking energy into the soundboard. It's much easier to drive a small soundboard than a big one. Love your impressive picking skills and musicality. Thanks
After some slight truss rod adjustment to lower the action and lighter strings, my PRS parlor is a joy to play! Like Justin stated, parlor guitars are just made for picking up and playing! I have some higher end acoustics from Taylor but I keep them in their cases so playing them is more of an effort. My PRS parlor is on a wall hanger so I just grab it and play…even if it is for five minutes. Would sit on the front porch and play…if they built houses with front porches anymore! 🤨🤪
You're delta blues are my favorite.Any thing with the slide.I really didn't really realize how many kinds of guitars there were till watching your videos.
I really appreciate that you play a lot of blues on your guitar demos. Blues is pretty much all I play, so it helps me get an idea of the guitar’s voice. Right now that little PRS is on the top of my list for my next guitar acquisition. Thanks for a good demo Justin.
I was just watching videos to hear how these PRS guitars sound. It's sometimes hard for me to watch the whole video, but no problem here. Subbed, and now can't stop watching. What a great musician!
Justin 2 days ago I didn’t know you existed and man you have blown my mind! I have listened to your albums If Walls Could Talk & Driving it Down both fantastic! Thanks for everything you do, Terrific!
This is the video prs need to use to advertise this guitar. It being played the way it was designed for. It has a beautiful tone and sound for picking plucking and slide.
Grest demo most musicians miss those high frets. Those high frets tones are the ones that tell the tale of the quality. They sound great and and works all the way up the neck impressive. Thanks!
Sounds great Justin you are one of the most amazing guitarists I have ever heard and in almost 70 years I have heard a couple here and there ! Keep up your great videos !
Lovely acoustic yes I agree that PRS wonderful electric guitars interesting how that guitar would go up against the Martin they look very cool wonderful blues playing too by yourself....🎼🎶🎸
It sounds exactly like a 'Recording King' parlour guitar I have...parlour guitars are just great for sitting round on the sofa or porch or whatever and noodling on!
This guitar is such a nice parlor and since it's becoming discontinued I finally got myself a vintage Mahogany p20e today. It ships tomorrow and will be in my hands by the beginning of next week. Can't wait man!
I swear you could sell me a patch of swamp land without a hope in hell of getting planning permission and I'd buy it. Great decision by PRS to get you to demo it. Sounds and looks awesome. Definitely going to have a look at this. Love me a parlour guitar since the shoulders ain't too great nowadays. Great demo Justin. Fan-bloomin-tastic!!
Incredible playing and nice sounding guitar. I definitely gotta check one out. Your playing allows us to really evaluate how the guitar sounds. Vintage vibe with modern playability and that is PRS.
Had me at Little Wing. If I were PRS, I'd have my set-up guys go through the entire inventory to find a stellar build with perfect intonation, then meticulously go through an in-depth set-up including primo strings. Then, I'd send it to Justin with the promise of a good payday if the video sells a lot of guitars. But they probably never thought of that (lol).
Yep- that's what's got me hooked into watching videos of this guitar... my first guitar was a 1965 or so Stella 4 string lol. (did not come with a tailpiece). It's sitting in the guest room with a spit bridge. Same color as your old one but with a pickguard like this one. My favorite guitar is an Ovation balladeer from about 1989... deep bowl, wide neck. This PRS seems like a combination of the things I'd like- smaller size/ wide fretboard.
Man I really want one of these PRS parlor guitars now. I never realized PRS made one of these. Very nice Justin!!! So glad you explained the way the guitar feels. That really helps.
Stumbled upon this guitar on pre-order...I want to buy my first guitar but I want to invest in one I really like. This ones it!!! I'm sold, I want it. 🖤 The vintage style is perfect. God it sounds amazing.
Beautiful guitar! Robert Johnson played this kind of guitar.. Justin you have so many guitars.. and you keep getting more brand new.! Dang you are fortunate my friend... how the heck do you decide which one to play? Another great video & guitar. 👍👍 Jimi's Little Wing! Nice. 👍
Not that name but played one like it before and was pleasantly surprised at the rich tone out of it. Didn't know that its called a parlor guitar so thank you for the education as well as your fantastic playing style. Live your videos.
That’s a gorgeous guitar Justin and it sounds awesome. But I’m still in favour of Little Jane you can take that baby anywhere ❤️.thanks for sharing. Stay safe and healthy.
Thank You again Sir for yet another fantastic post. I was literally trying one of these out 1 hour ago at my local music shop. I’ll be putting down deposit and financing this baby at months end. Love it! Thanks for all you do JJ. Keep on keeping on Sir….& may you and all of your loved ones stay healthy and safe. Cheers Peace
There Couldn't be a better gunslinger to show off the new parlor se acoustics! This is your wheelhouse Justin. Paul, you should replace Brian E. with Justin for the demos of this series!
I wanna have this too. It's really so very cool. You know a lot Justin. I always enjoy your playing. This is MAGIC 🤚you can play anything. That makes you so great. BTW / like your studio . Enjoy your new guitar. Thank you very much.
Whenever I listen to Justin play I always have the same 2 responses: 1. I want to keep on listening to him play, and I always come away with an appreciation for guitars. 2. I want to run and smash all my guitars. ;-)
justin, YOU are the only person I would watch unboxing something! Because I just know I am in for a treat shortly. How many did they sell since you made this? a whole bunch no doubt.
I think parlor-sized guitars are going to be the next big trend. They're quieter and smaller for apartment living, and if you need more volume the electronics are better than they've ever been.
Your channel has exploded and I’m not surprised given the quality. I’m presuming this is their take on the old Gibson guitars? Certainly has that woody sound which is incredible, straight out the box. Can I say after nine months of dissecting your finger picking video, that it’s finally clicked I can now play fairly well.
Hello Justin! Great video. I have only one doubt… i feel like the finger picking with .12 caliber string doesn’t sound good. Should I change string to a lower gauge?
In tune out of the box is nice ... but greatly increases the chances of the neck breaking during shipping. Much safer to slacken the strings when in transit.
Thanks for watching! Please Hit SUBSCRIBE while you're here! 😁
Favorite UA-cam guitarist man!
I came here for the guitar but hell, i could listen to you play for hours. Phenomenal talent.
I bet you could make a lolly stick sound nice your so darn good dude.👍😃
Is there a trus rod I'm these?
I did. I really like ur music with slide 😍☺️
If i owned a guitar company i would send Justin every single model to make a video on because he makes everything sound like a million bucks.
Sounds great, but then you make a shovel sound good.
Give Justin a shovel. Hold my beer.
Not everyone wants to play a shovel
Bullshit lol everyone wants a shovel guitar I'm a bass player and I want one
@@stevenfowler3043 Only 450 bucks. Just so you can say. Hey let me pull out my shovel and play for u..lol
The comment is gold and really put a smile on my face !

Bought mine right after watching this video arriving in 36 hours!
I came for a review of the PRS parlor, but I stayed for some fine blues.
When a Guitar is 95% in tune and I play it, living things around me die. When Justin plays a guitar 75% in tune, dead things come alive.
Same here. True Story I’m afraid.
🤦🏼♂️🤣
Ah I was wondering why I can’t keep an indoor plant alive!

Finishing my last cup of coffee, contemplating heading outside and JJ posts a video, refill cup and sit back and enjoy
if you were a muslim like me, you can't eat or drink something in this month. 😢😢 im hungry dude
Just wait til sunset
How did you refill if it was your last cup?
@@jestahfaelestah1283 It was to be my last cup.
Sweet. I love that Paul’s guitars are in tune out of the box. Looks like the usual high standard of quality that we’ve come to know and love from PRS
Wow, I was just looking at an ad for that guitar the other day. Now I see it in the hands of one of my favorite players. I've never tried a PRS acoustic but this changes my mind. Thanks.

Gotta love the ceremonial guitar-opening knife.
I actually came to the comment section to find someone who saw that too, besides me!
“That’s a knife!” Crocodile Dundee 😉

PRS did their homework when they designed this one. What a fabulous instrument at a great price! Thank you for the amazing demo, Justin!
Watch from 13:58 - 15:15 for some blues Heaven

Wow, that is a fantastic beautiful guitar, damn I want one..😄, sounds awesome too, great playing as always Justin🎶🔥🎶🔥
Thanks Justin for showing the pickup. Most of the demos of this guitar they bypass the electronics. Great sounding guitar may be my next purchase.
I've never seen Little Wing played like that, I love it!!!
Great Delta playing. Good to hear good words for parlor guitars. I have a Larrivee walnut parlor I love.

Driftwood guitars (I think) put this through the ringer and it's pretty much indestructible.
Love the pinched hamonics, very well played, thanks Justin
