- Shoe shines are super popular on the streets of #Saigon to use these services it is essential to set the price before and although I did, I failed to ask him how much the sole change cost. As far as scams go, it turned out pretty ok. You paid a little more and got an interesting video and a life lesson. I don't know if you realized but the other guy who turned up near the end was there to make sure you paid. You did well by just rolling with it.
