Unpopular opinion: This is the best song of The Killlers... The lyrics kill, The melody kills, The vocals kills... Everything kills... It's a killer song!
Unpopular opinion but I think Sam's Town is The Killers at their best & it sounds the most like them. This album they truly found themselves. People weren't ready for such a huge transition like this after Hot Fuss but Sam's Town is the ultimate Killers album & it's aged beautifully
Ofc, look back at the history of sams town how much it was nominated for many categories in all music awards. The killers beat Muse that time, but they are both great.
I was not a fan of the album when it came out. Like you said, it was a big difference from the sound of Hot Fuss. Now that I've listened to their newer albums, it is definitely a great album. Shame it took me a couple years to realize that, especially this song!
Tim Burton used to be good. He turned into a parody of himself along the way. His original content was good, but he should never be allowed to make an adaption or remake ever again. They’re laughable and abysmal.
My dad used to constantly listen to this band. It's so nostalgic for me cos this is the first band I ever remember listening to. Always reminds me of childhood😭❤️
i randomly bought that album when i was like 7 with no knowledge of the killers. they were the only band i liked until i saw the killers vs coldplay. now it's just the killers and coldplay at 16 :\
3:11 oh my god when it all just drops and you have the drums, guitars, horns, etc. oh my god it’s just so incredible This album is definitely in my top 5 of all time
Just saw them perform this live last week, never did I think I would have the opportunity for them to come to my town, it’s was so incredible to witness!!!
@@marsday321He litteraly talks about a holy vision and angels calling within this very song lmao. Christianity does not abhor skeletons, that is China.
@@Luckingsworth so in your eyes, referencing angels automatically makes a song Christian rock? I think that's stretching the genre outside the comfort zone of most people who listen to Christian rock. I'd love for Brandon Flowers to sing "Don't you wanna feel my skin on your skin. It's only natural" at a Christian rock festival and see how that goes over. Is Brandon a Christian? Yep. Does his faith influence his lyrics? Yep. Are The Killers a Christian rock group? Nope. No more than U2 is Christian rock.
@@marsday321I’m not a Christian but it’s clear you got some sort of resentment towards them whether that’s from personal experience or just being apart of this cultural resentment and push towards anti religion I can’t say. I have known a couple that were genuinely awesome incredible not including my dad
This is one of the most underrated songs and music videos ever. I remember when this came out and thought it was the coolest thing. The killers walked so Arctic Monkeys could run
A couple years ago me and my cousin saw this video and when the 2 skeletons run into each other we cracked up laughing and we still do till this day. Love this song so much
This is my best friends favourite song from the killers, when we were watching them live this year we were convinced they wouldn't play this song. We waited for hours in line so we could have a good place. In the middle of the show I started feeling sick and had to leave and get some water and sugar, we ran back to the show and this time we sat on the grass way more far away from them that at the beginning and suddenly they started playing this song and we got up and started dancing, it was just perfect.
My first Killers contact, back in 2006...talk about love at first sight. 11 years later, that love is stronger than ever. I´m seeing them in three weeks and I´m already FREAKING OUT!!!!
This song is the work of greatness. I was actually introduced to it by Brandon himself, when I went to the rebel diamonds tour in July. It feels as if I was supposed to find this song, it unfolds so many thoughts i could never think of myself thinking about. 😅 Thank you for this, I hope to see you live soon again.
I remember watching the music video on TV a few years ago with my dad and sister before I moved back up to my old hometown on New Year's Day 2012. After hearing the song on the radio today, I searched up the video and knew how great it really is, just like the song itself
Whoever was the person who thought “oh here fits perfectly some trumpets”... I salute you
Oscar Alarcón Brandon hated this song until Mark decided to add horns to the song, and then Brandon thought it was brilliant.
Miles Cory awesome, thanks for the info 👌🏽
No im sorry no lol
The horn section in this song is VERY Frank Black
Listen to Kyoto by Phoebe Bridgers. A well placed trumpet is underrated.
This is my favorite song by The Killers.
In my opinion, this song is the essence of The Killers.
right?! when it wasnt on their greatest hits album, i gasped
Luis Irastorza Valera WELL SAID LUIS. :-)

In my opinion is Human or Runaways but I agree, Bones = The Killers.

Im with u there, Easily their best, and I have to add that Brandon Flowers is as good a front man as anyone could get. Massive charisma and humour.
It is criminally underrated!

Yep

I think top to bottom Sam's Town was better, agreed.

I just can't believe that single was released almost 14 years ago... Good music will never age, there's no doubt about it.
KILLER video! No pun intended. Outrageous effects. I'll probably have to watch it 49 more times in a row.
THIS is the best Killers song. Hands down.

Good first band to be exposed to 👍
Your dad? Lol. This song came out when I was in middle school I think. Was fairly popular on the radio too. You must be very young😂
