A tip that somebody told me was once the PETs are full, just slightly squeeze the PET to expel and oxygen/co2 mix. The following day the PET be starting to firm up. Works for me. Good vids mate, I have been binge watching over the last month
It might be worth a try to put a spunding valve on the side cap that you are using for the gas input. Then after a bottle is attached, put the gas fitting on the top cap. Make sure the spunding valve is just releasing gas for a few second and it's an semi-auto purge. Then disconnect the gas and connect the beer line. As the beer fills the spunding valve will vent off the over pressure. Once the beer is up to the level you want disconnect the beer line as you do now.
Hi Dan I’m not sure about an American source, I made mine up using kegland pieces which quite a few people sell in the UK is Ali Express a thing over there?
G'Day from Australia! Thanks for the video. Subscribed and I'll be looking forward to watching your other stuff. CHEERS MAAAAAATE!! (Coz that's what we say here in Oz apparently... Come to think of it, we do actually)
As good as those iTaps are, they annoyingly only use specific PET and glass bottles. Annoying as I had a load of other ones and had to chuck. Also they are made in Russia so spare parts might be difficult to source. Loving that big plastic bottle too, small enough to fit into tight spaces so would go well with impys or something that BIG that you would never brew a full batch of.
If getting absolutely trashed is one option, there isn't room for other options 😂

A very interesting process, Pat. Where can I buy the bottling attachment? Can you recommend a USA source?

Your very welcome mate 🍻
Wouldn't come to your bar 10 minutes of waffle before finally getting a flat bottle of beer.
