I live in Berlin, this is the same with ALL German women in Berlin. I speak German but I'm from Balkan. The Berlin women sound like sugar translated into sound. I find it SO strange, sounds very fake. But it is the norm in Berlin.
In East Germany women talk more like men, or as I would call it, more normal.
Maybe someone can explain me this phenomenon?

@@stephgreen3070 i think you are right in many parts of Germany, but definitely not everywhere :) I was for a long time with Schwaben, maybe I'm wrong but definitely didn't notice this. And I also think this is partially one of those east/West Germany thing. Statistically, almost women in East Germany worked while 70% of them in West Germany were stay at home wives. So in DDR they had more gender equality. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I think Berliners (Just women) speak like west Germans, veryyyy feminine, since for west German women, that was their job. Stay home, kids, be feminine. And east German women worked as equals, as it is in communism. This is my theory anyhow. The difference between talking voices in women is striking.

I think that it just depends from expectations. Because if you are paying 100€ for pancake your standarts becomes very high. You are expecting something incredible and unique, because CMON it's 100€. But if you are paying 1€ for the same pancake or even worse pancake you will actually be happy and enjoy it. Because almost everything is good for that price

In Poland as a street food we have Zapiekanki which can be compared to long rectangular pizza and is about 10-15 PLN (3 EUR). For the dessert u can buy Pączki (1,5 EUR) - it is a yeast dough made of wheat flour, formed into a slightly flattened ball that can fit in the palm of your hand and deep-fried with jam, e.g. Nutella or pistachio cream. There is a fast direct train between Berlin and Warsaw so we are waiting for You! ❤

Probably the most vegan city in Europe - considering there are over a 100 fully vegan restaurants and cafes in town (mostly Vietnamese, Middle-Eastern, sushi and local veganised places)! I just moved to Berlin in August but right next to my place is a little pizza place called Teigmeister in the middle of the road haha (10min from U Hansaplatz)
I think the pizza there is decent and they offer to put some extra parmesan, oregano, garlic oil and chili oil on top without charging you extra and it's really cheap (their most expensive pizza is 8€!!), we got two pizzas for like 15€ and those were with extra toppings, plus the people were nice to me when I went to get them, you can even order by calling them and since it wasn't busy at all that day we only waited like 10min :)

I’m danish, and here we have a thing called “pølsemix” (directly translated it’s “sausage mix “)
It’s a dish inspired by your currywürst.
First it’s French fries with pieces of sausage mixed/spread over. Then you pour some curry ketchup over it along with some “remoulade” (then it’s optional if you get regular ketchup over it also)
    Next is the toppings:
First a handful of diced onions, then roasted onions (just the bagged stuff from store) then you top it off with thinly sliced pickles (we call it “cucumber salad” 😃 if you make it yourself it’s basically just thinly sliced cucumber that’s been marinated in a “balanced vinegar juice”- if that makes sense..)
    Try it, it’s gooood… 😃
