In my village scheduled caste people become landlords, the people who migrated to Chennai city during the British period as harbor workers, were able to buy land from the intermediate caste people with the money they saved. the literacy level is also quite good. As of now, we have IT employees, doctors, doctorates lawyers engineers, etc, in fact, we become more empowered than any other community however the feeling of the caste among the so-called dominant caste still exists.
