That's such an interesting clasp. I don't think I ever had a bag with that one. The only problem I ever had with a bag was wear to the trim after a lot of use. Coach refurbished it at no charge. This was back in the 90s.
Hi friend! These vintage bags last forever 😊 I have had wear on the corner of some bags and redyed the corners with touch up dye, but never ever had any trouble with a vintage Coach. These bags will still be around long after you and me if cared for. Even at that, you could probably run one over with your car, dunk it and it'll bounce back 😂 jk! Hope you're doing well and having a wonderful day 🌹
Hi there! I was very lucky to find a like new tan mini belt bag 9826 which has this unique clasp! Haven’t used the bag yet but also can’t bear to sell.. it’s so cute. TFS look forward to your next video. Have a great week 😊
Hi friend! That bag is a nice piece to have in any collection 😉 reminds me of the Everett bag. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment 🌹 have a wonderful day!
I bought one of this in British tan too but I think I have the binocular. Also authenticated and still the same very beautiful bag. I haven't done anything with it yet since I'm still busy finding a good deal online. Lol! But i always wonder how to use the clasp properly. Thank you for this.
Hi friend! There's the Canterbury, Nottingham and Binocular and very much alike. This one probably is what some would call the Binocular but I'm going by what I was told many years ago by a sell associate, the Canterbury has a leather tab where the turn lock is and the Nottingham doesn't, and the Binocular is just a nick name for Nottingham even called that in some catalogues. Of course I could have it all backwards 😂 I'm old now LOL! Nevertheless they're all very awesome bags ☺️👍 Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment 🌹 have a wonderful day!
Hi friend! This is a great push button lock, don't let false information stop you from purchasing one if you ever come across one. As you can see in the comments nobody else has had any issues with this type of lock. There's much wrong information out there and that's sad. Thanks so much for your support 🌹 hope you're doing well and have a wonderful day 😊👍
Hi friend! I guess that could be, I've never had any issues with any push button lock. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment 🌹 you're truly appreciated and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Thanks for the demonstration.. I need to re-watch all your videos. I’m interested in getting a few vintage Coach. Do you have any bags you’d like to sell? Thank you for sharing 😊😊
Hi friend! I'm getting rid of many of them but just been giving them away and having giveaways on the channel. It's hard to try to get my collection down because I keep buying 😂 it's a serious problem LOL! Hope you're doing well and having a wonderful day 🌹
Hi friend! I used to have the Roll bag but sold it years ago. From what I can remember it's nothing like the Willis and smaller. It's like apples and oranges, completely different from one another. It's more comparable to the City bag. Sorry I can't help you more than that. Hope you're having a wonderful evening 🌹
Hi friend! If you scroll down you'll see someone from a Facebook group say there's three prongs that gets weak in time, and the two who have asked me about it said they read it's a spring which I've read on Facebook. I've NEVER had any issues with mine and it's been used for many many years, yanked on and pulled, never had any trouble. It could be the Binocular bag or mabe the Canterbury but my Nottingham is still going strong as day one. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment 🌹 have a wonderful day!
Hi sweetie 🌹🥰 That is a smart lock on your bag. ☺️ Thank you so much fore the tips on drying the bag to not get stiff in the leather.. 🌹🥰 Happy Halloween 🎃 Take care and stay safe out there, big hugs from Stine from Denmark 🥰🌹

Hi, I dunked a couple vintage bags and they are not as soft. I did stuff them and let them sit, them conditioned them. Still not as soft as when I received them. The inside suede is not as soft which is a super bummer. I wish I had just cleaned them with leather cleaner. Anyways, can't go back in time. Do you think if I redunked them and did your technique with the blow dryer and leather conditioner I can get them to soften up more?
Hi friend, yes you probably should redunk them and use a blow dryer. The reason they're stiff is because you let them air dry. When the bag is almost dry use moisturizer on the bag using your fingers while blow drying to get the moisturizer to melt into the fibers. Your bags will turn out very soft. I used to stuff my bags and they came out stiff and some even had a moldy film from stuffing while wet. Hope this helps, stay safe and have a wonderful day 🌹
Hi friend! Yes this bag holds alot. It has a zip pocket inside from side to side and the full length of the bag, but no back pocket. I have a couple videos on this bag if you want to check it out more. Thanks so much for watching, hope you have a wonderful day 🌹

My vintage push-button lock still works great after decades, no problems. Do those with a problem have newer versions?

My first spring lock bag was the Crosby, and I felt very dumb when I couldn't figure out how to open it right away. 😳
Hi friend, I think many of us got confused about how it works. Hope you're doing well and having a wonderful day 🌹
