Finally, a song that unlocks the secret of Ozzy's early 80's success. Sure, hiring Randy Rhoads was key, having faster tempos was important, but the thing that nobody talks about is the rhythm change. Instead of heavy Bill Ward stuff, he opted for a brisk four on the floor beat that came from funk and disco, which freed up his voice from being so tied to the riff, as he was in Sabbath. It also allowed Rhoads' solos to have more room. It was catchier and more radio friendly. I remember seeing him do "Bark at the Moon" with Jake E Lee on the pop show Solid Gold, and it hit me, "This dude's doing metal disco."

As much as I love all of your mash ups, this one gives me the most feels. What makes this one endure for me is the simplicity of the premise. You just mash this one to perfection. Sure, other ones have may more references, be more complex, and intricate (not that this one isn't), but to me the elegance of this one is how well you strip each song down to its vital components, and the restraint you show when putting it all back together. I've not been this excited about a mashup in years. This is absolutely perfect - you've taken Ozzy out of a classic tune, put him into another classic tune, and transmuted them into something completely new.
Mashups like this can, in less capable hands, too easily end up inadvertently disrespecting all the musicians involved. Not so, this. I absolutely love that you created original background vocals - that is a level of dedication that clearly shows your love and respect for both songs.
    Kudos. This is magical.
