  • Mandaragiri or Basadi-betta is a Jain pilgrimage located on Mandaragiri Hill in Tumkur district in the Indian state of Karnataka.
It is just 60-70 km from Bangalore. It is perfect for a day trip. You need to climb 450+ steps to reach at the top, trek is not difficult if weather is good. There are 3 ancient Jain temples on top of the hill and a very beautiful Pinchi (peacock feather duster) shaped Jain temple with the statue of Bahubali at the foothills of the temple.
