Awesome !!! This reminds me when Gene blew his bubble top ! Wonder how many Grills will be cut up. I also found all of your TV episodes on Demand KEEP all the GOOD stuff coming . Jim USA.
Great job on getting all the clamps ready. The window turned out great. Looking forward to "It's Friday" show tomorrow.
Nice work. I have allready built a curve windshield in Polycarbonate. There is 3 cool products, "Lexan", "Macrolon", but the best for me is "Margard", no scratch about 6 years on chop top 50's car, clear like the first day. Great idea to BBQ conversion. Thanks from France for sharing your great videos.
Fina gets the shop dog of the year award!!
Chad is like having a good creative buddy giving you a hand with your project. All for the love of the end goal.
Today I finally have a windshield installed in my chopped 1955 F100 thanks to chad, I made a sheet metal form similar to what chad did and also made a similar looking box but used the heating element out of a electric oven I probably made 12 or so tests with scrap plexi and a couple ruined windshield attempts before I got it down pat, the procedure that I ended up with is inserting a thermometer through the box running the temperature up to 250F and holding it there for 10 minutes, then because one end of the box was hotter than the other I would flip the form around and repeat, ended up not even needing to use any clamps, the plexi would just form on its own but it was not so pliable that it formed to every imperfection in my form, very happy with the result
I do this process often, put in my oven at 200 degrees for 20 mins on wood slats. I like the parchment paper idea.
Whoop Whoop! Great job Chaddy. It might be a good idea to put a smoke alarm in the garage.
plexiglass is fun to maintain. I had boat windshields with plexiglas. I learned to never, never, never wipe dirt or dust off.
Blow off the dust and soapy water with soft washcloths
Yes, you are a lucky duck you still have your shop. Live and learn.
Chad: polish the plex inside and out, clean with acetone and put clear film in and out! You will never regret it and the film will NOT SCRATCH as easily. If the film gets damaged just cut it off and install another piece. Been doing this for years. Please try it here, you will be amazed. And happy
Chad this is coming along pretty good now! The fact that you are so determined to succeed is awesome. You show the fans everything good or bad, so people can see what really happens instead of editing all the mistakes out. You are very fortunate to have Jolene supporting you through everything, she's not afraid to help out and get her hands dirty. Jolene you always do so well with the video's.
Isn't easier to just buy one then go thru all this, I don't see this being the revolutionary idea of the chopped car window problem, I do see how once again you make what you need happen as always, pretty cool
Amazing mind of dreamer, don't ever give up on yourself. Dream on Chad, Jolene and Fina. Love the work you do and will continue watching to learn more.
Chad and Jolene - Love you guys and admire your tenacity. Your confidence and humility are a great example to all of us. Being creative comes naturally to many of us, but combining that with your persistence, patience, imagination, skill humility are very rare. I've not missed an episode since you started your daily schedule. Thank you!
Nice job guys. Good to see you made your own “tools” to make the glass.
You have to start somewhere, I am glad you are showing the good and bad about making a plexiglass window.
The bad part would be almost burning down your shop. Hopefully Fina has a dog door
Someone on the chat rely had a good idea for future plexi work. He said he worked a lot with plexi and said you could just leave the protective plastic on tell after it is done. It will help to keep dirt and dust off during process. Sounds good to me. Hi Fina. Bill
#2 came out well overall. The use of spring clamps is the way to go. Great job Chad. Jolene's videos has been spectacular.

Wow you have some of the most extraordinary techniques that anyone has had the guts to share with anyone and everyone. I have to say I been around for quite a long time and you take the guess work out of any fabrication on cars that I’ve ever had the great pleasure to witness. You are an amazing person and I am so glad I stumbled upon your videos. You make me want to find some old cars and turn them out you should be a very proud individual and your girl of what you’ve accomplished in such a short time it’s a fresh way for me to look at making parts and fabricating parts for anything that I want to make it’s been a great help thank you so much for your wealth of knowledge that you so readily share. You are one of the best I’ve ever seen in any venue and I appreciate you thoughtful insight on everything you put out it’s always entertaining and I enjoy the way you present your projects and the way you explain every detail even if it’s not perfect you admit that it isn’t perfect but when you are doing what you do there is no manual you are the manual I’m in awe at the transformations you come up with and the finished products you come up with with out having to buy or pay some huge cost to make the impossible absolutely possible to do thank you very much and you are amazing and I’m can’t say it enough I can’t you and Jolene are inspiring and entertaining and you can’t help but learn and be inspired but your way of presenting and fabricating some of the baddest ass cars I’ve ever seen 👍🏼👍🏼
Your videos make me to loose all the ghost about failures, making to seeing the tasks easier. You, Jolene and yours friends, makes a perfect combination for a new way to learn and having fun at the same time. I never missed any videos, thanks for being always with your humble personality and great sense of humor. 👍

job well done chad, great filming jolene. such an inspirational duo
the windshield looks great, i knew you would get it done. keep up the awesome videos!
You can always pay $$$ to get what you want... Love when people figure out a way to do it themselves and save $$$. Even if the first time doesn't save money the experience will save money over the years. Not all of us can just write a check for everything. And even if you can, there is a feeling of accomplishment to be able say "I made that". hats off to you. I always found it funny when I walked around a car show that I had my car at and found out that no one else actually painted their own car. Nothing against people that pay for it, It just made me feel better about my project and less interested in their story. probably because I was never rich enough to just pay for stuff to get done. BTW your bodywork and paint work techniques are not for the first timer... You definitely know what you are doing. Keep up the great work!!!
Third times a charm…. Looks absolutely perfect… well done….🤙😎
Practice makes perfect, the last one looked good, great job guys
Glad to see you happy with the outcome, just don’t get to stressed out,I know that’s hard for you,but that’s when mistakes happen, just sometimes slow is the just the way to go.just keep doing what your doing.👍👍👍😎😎😎

Uncle Kevin says he is proud of you..and you have like mind like a snow globe all shaken up..love you uncle MEF x
Windshield came out great thanks to patience, talent and ingenuity. Thank You for sharing your skills, Thank You Jolene for another great video.
Always learning new ways of doing stuff from you Chad. Thanks
Chad, I understand your disappointments and your victories. Forming is a lot different than blowing a bubble and you are putting forth the effort, money and time to help the hobby. Thanks very much to you and Jolene!!
Chad I'm excited for you. Success here means success in future builds since front windshields are probably the biggest hurdle of most custom roof modifications. Thanks to Jolene for keeping us close to everything you are doing.
Chad!! This was such a helpful video! Brother, you are a very go to person and a make it happen guy. The COE is looking really good with those peaked headlights. Man I'm only to 20 minutes on the video and you've already got my brain going on what I can now do and not be stalled out on glass! Thankyou
Thanks for showing us the process. Looks like you got it this time.
I've never seen that done before. Wow 👌 amazing 👏 great work. Looks sweet. Thanks for the video 📹 ❤
That was just amazing, chad. Such an inspiration to many😍ty
Chad you're engineering skills are impressive. Your awareness of what's going on with materials and processes is very high. Going from the 1st attempt to the third and final is awesome sir. Creativity needed to develop the makeshift oven from a gas grill is brilliant.
Really impressive. Beyond genetics, you have a lot to offer your son.
Beautiful work Chad. What an opportunity to watch true innovation in real time. That is a real game changer in the custom fab world!
Wow what an interesting ordeal ,good job Rad Chad and the Queen Jolene !
Final pass, I hope. This has been quite informative. Best channel on UA-cam.
Keep up the good work Chad and Jolene.
Beautiful 👍 third time's the charm. Thanks for showing the mess up's also.
Nice work Chad. You are showing the viewers that it is not a failure unless you give up. It is only a chance to improve your process. Cheers from Alaska.
Just wanted to thank you for your videos. You will never know the help you've been. My son and I just chopped truck. No clue what we were doing. Cutting and adding to door windows. Really intimidating, without a clue. Success brings such Joy and fulfillment. You give useful information, but inspiration to just try!!! Windshield was a big concern on this project. And here you come with help. Lol to anyone else inspired watching a video, feeling prepared. Watching Chad pull that burned up window out of his box..... I know the feeling!!! But keep going and get the feeling he had pulling the next one out. I know that one to. Thank you Bad Chad!!!
