I think you need a row of 2 ton boulders along the fence line

Like# 50 - Taj-Ma-Haul is Eufy based too! I have the magnetic mounts which rocks for when I am mobile, pluck them for the drive and throw them back up when I'm planted!
I've heard a few horror stories from folks living on a T-intersection over the years. This should be a good solution for you.
Even cooler would be the ability to use multiple cameras on one cellular plan (one camera acting as your home camera, sending you alerts).
4k resolution does not cut it for your distance if you want faces to be recognized. You need at least 8k (7680 × 4320).

Is the video storage cloud in a off-shore server or US based?
yes, and is it running point cloud software to garner facial recognition profiles of everyone it sees?
It's chinese company so there is a great chace that those data are send to china servers.
The sh*tty thing about all these cameras is most of the ones I've found all require a monthly subscription, even though it's recording straight to a SD card.
I just want a quality one that doesn't require a monthly subscription.

I think you need some bollards installed behind the fence plus it will make better videos with your new AI.
The city removed the ones outside the fence...not that they did much HAA. Yeah we plan to do something back there!!

The AI tracking actually works pretty well. I was kinda surprised.
I've got a couple Reolink cameras out near our pasture that I just mounted to trees as well. It's nice to be able to see what's going on.

I think I'd just setup an outdoor wifi 2.4ghz antenna, and have it connected to my wifi for solocams. If you have a homebase 3, they have a new feature where your homebase will use your home wifi networks SSID to connect its devices. With that you can use an outdoor wifi extender with your homebase 3.

hey have you noticed the vehicle detection doing a good job? I live on a quiet cul de sac but worried about crime so want to have it recognize and alert me to "unknown" vehicles
I havent had any vehicles in the backyard yet but it will alert me if I am back there on the riding mower if that helps😁
I'm OK with select persons, but "people" suck. Will need a security camera in the near future, so this video comes at a great time.

From the tree will it know to zoom in to the road ? Are you placing it to far from the road. Can you park your car on the street and see the license plates?
I wanted in inside the yard however....I do have a tree in that corner in "zone 4" that I could maybe mount it. Then I could see both yard and road🤔

How hard is it to replace the battery in it? Does it say if it's Ni-cad or NMC? Where I would use one, colder than -4F is a very real concern.
Ill have to take a closer look at it. I remember seeing 4 rubber covers and I bet there are screws under them.
@@AveRage_Joe - I'd have to know replacements are available, and it's meant to be user-serviced, before I buy one, because -4F is just the tip of the iceberg ( :D) in northern Michigan.

Pay nothing on wifi. Not sure what RTSP is?
