Gorgeous. I love watching your videos before going pigment shopping. I was originally thinking of getting a granulating earth tone but I realised I can mix it myself with this! Thank you as always for sharing🎉
The PG7 mix is wonderful! I think the supertinting green is neutralizing the red, leaving the blue tone of the violet to come forward to make that cool turquoise. Three colors in one!
very beautiful mixes! the mixing videos are so valuable, thank you for all the time and effort. My go-to colors are rainbow poop as well, haha. granulating, blues, violets and pinks. But here my fav mixes are the ones with quin gold and po48. I have only been using po48 for a few months but there is something about this vibrant rust color..it even granulates a bit. I love mixing it with violets and manganese violet is a great companion to it i think ^_^
aww thank you so much! 😂rainbow poopp~ 🤣🤣🤣 oohh i see u like the earthy mixtures~ and i agree, i’ve only recently been using PO48 as well and really loving it 🥰
I love your reactions lol I need to start mixing my colors. I have a lot of granulating watercolors and now I know I'll get some interesting mixes 🤔 great video!
Man I love every single color here I think. The PG7/PV16 is a convenience mix that Isaro makes, I don't plan on buying it because easy to mix yourself but the combination just pops. And granulating/separating colors are just so fun to play with!
I love PR170. But Naphthol red AS PR170 is a marginally lightfast to impermanent, semiopaque, heavily staining, dark valued, very intense red to deep red pigment, offered by close to 40 pigment manufacturers worldwide. Naphthol reds as a group vary widely in lightfastness. For this reason alone, some artists avoid them entirely. My darkest brightest red is a Schmincke PR170. I will use in sketch books only because my portraits end up framed.
@@PaintinHiding Oooh, that sounds exciting! Let us know what you find. All I know is that the earthier shades of quinacridones, such as PR206, PO47, PO48, PO49, are all quinacridone quinones. I got this information from Guerra Paints and Pigments. I never saw PO47 in watercolours, I just saw it on Guerra’s website.
I really love this Rembrandt manganese violet, beautiful!!💝👍

My two favorites are the same as yours - they are just stunning.

u do?! maybe you’re a violet lover 😁 oohh im not very fond of isaro, i’ll need to read up more on them 🥰
You are in my wheel house today. I have this & love it. Now I love it even more. Great video! Maybe I won't buy Holbein's mineral violet after all.
yay! more love of PV16! 😆
PG7 and PV16 is an indigo turquoise.
I’m going to give that combination a try. Thanks!
"Indigo turquoise" will be an attractive name for a pigment.
@@monsoon_magic2874 It is isn’t it!

I am boring haha and only mixed it with phthalos :D I love your quin.gold and turquoise mixes though!
haha, you're not the only one. prior to this i've mainly been mixing it with blues too. oh! turquoise gang! high five~! 👏😆
The PBr7 and PV16 is more like an Indian red hue.
First!
😁🥇
@@PaintinHiding Yay more medals! 🥳
