Please turn off the forced subtitles. UA-cam has an option to enable subtitles.
I actually prefer them to the UA-cam option. UA-cam often gets the words wrong.

I think they added them to the video to reach the most people possible. UA-cam's own software might doing a bad job. It can also be cheaper to add it to the video if they want to upload it to a different site and not depend on youtube's embed feature
@@XInfinity2024 its not the Subtitles that were the Problem. its that the person reading them seemed like they were Struggling to read it. but i think its the Scripts fault
like go back and look how its cliped from each sentence. its like a serial killer letter. or when someone clips audio from someone talking to make a song
looking good, if you want CC... leave it to the user to enable CC or not -> you can upload your CC files to YT with timestamps
also - sometimes the overlay is OVER the CC

And might I suggest that if you are going to make sure you have accurate embedded captions, you can make sure they YT captions are as accurate.

@@SourceCodeDeletedI understand their need, but not only does UA-cam already have an option for this, but they also have the option to submit your own sub-titles instead of having them auto-generated by UA-cam. It also makes watching difficult with my ADD.
Great job. The video is concise, which is good. We’re down a story, though. Maybe future weeks could have four stories to get a similar run length to previous editions.
I also agree with the other commenters about subtitles. Please drop them and let users decide for themselves using UA-cam’s subtitles system.

absolutely. maybe someone can one day develop an package manager equivalent that can do scans of packages before being installed on a work server
@@endingwithaliThere are some very helpful tools out there, like Github's Dependabot, that help scan for vulnerable dependencies. Or the static and run-time analysis tools that look for common mistakes or malicious patterns. And there are dependency caching tools that can help defend against supply chain attacks by caching vetted copies and only deploying the cached copies to development or production systems.
Unfortunately, like AV scanners, no automated tool can ever be 100% accurate at identifying malware. Writing an algorithm that can identify all malicious code would be equivalent to solving the Halting Problem. 🤔So we humans will always need to be involved in the process.
Yay new host! The new host is cool and excited to see Threat Wire continue on. The audio sounds heavily filtered/muted; it lacks the clarity from previous videos. Might want to try switching out the lavalier mic for a shotgun mic (NTG4/5) or something.
I am using a lav mic - its just that I record during the day and there has been major construction happening outside my door... maybe a shotgun mic would be a good thing to look into when I dont have construction 🤔
@@endingwithali The moment you said construction, my first thought was say less. You can have a great shoot, but there's always something that ruins the audio 😅
It's just the position of the lav mic. It would be better further away from / not touching her throat. This way it picks up more sound from the mouth and less from the body.

the hard coded captions are not needed. youtubes CC system is alot better these days and i really dont need hard coded captions. my ADHD could not pay attenion to the video with the words flashing at the bottom of the screen lol

I liked the video but I hated the forced subtitles. I don't mind subtitles but only when I have the option to turn them on when and if I need them, they are kind if distracting in a video to have them on with no option to remove them.
