Ritual feels great this league. Omen of Amelioration has probably saved me almost half a level already, but it's worth bearing in mind that you can only trigger one omen (of any type) per instance. This means that if you happen to have looted one of the other omens that triggers when you hit low life, it will pop before your OoA and disable it. This rule also means that once you've popped one OoA, you may want to just abandon the map you died in so you can reset your death protection.
I like using Blighted Maps to level new characters because you can anoint for 90% increase EXP, and 25% reduced tower cost, which means you don't even need your character fully built. Useful now that we have bases that require lvl84 to equip. Also means I can get some additional currency items, essences, stacked decks, and sometimes fractured bases. Only problems are the chaos dot from on death balls and spitting spiders, and there's like one monster type that spams 300 fireballs at you if the pack sees you, which is just toxic if the portal for them is right beside the pump.
I tested your atlas with my squischy death oath build. I died often in ritual in the moment the syndicate intervention surprised me. I had almost no safehouses anyway, so I deleted betrayal. But I'm really interested in betrayal video with the 2 safehouses you've told in the video. Love your channel.
OMG I can't believe I fond this Channel, THANK YOU! As a SSF player, I was almost giving up on watching youtube content about PoE and taking on the chalenge of learning everything myself because every single one of them was geared towards trade league. Thanks for being here for us SSF players. Keep doing this work man.
Just an observation: Ritual requires you have a good amount of chaos resistance to be comfortable (I'd say +50% or more). People were riping to it not only because it was overturned, but also because they were trying to do it with poor chaos res and that was a mistake due to the amount of chaos damage that goes around between the explosive flowers, chaos damage balls, and the rest. Since I've managed to max out my chaos res, I haven't died to a Ritual once, not even close, as long as I avoid the floating explosive balls.
SSF is about farming what you need. You need to kill Catarina to get veiled orbs. You need to do the blue man group to get anulls. Beyond for the tainted currency (mainly to usel early corrupted six links). Delve is good for early curse in hit rings and to get a Doriani's map for the challenges, etc. SSF is also about improvisation. For instance, I'm playing the archmage Icenova from last league. The initial plan was to do Legion to farm the corrupted blood jewel, but I got a Replica Soul Tether in the first weekend so I block legion. I still didn't find an Atziri's foilble so I'm using a very lucky Haste Aul's Uprising.... IMO, there is no "strategy" to farm in SSF besides the early stages of the atlas.
Excellent video! I'm stuck at 94 so will give this a spin. Also, your video about using your bricked maps with Twist of Fates and Overloaded Circuits can give me over 30k gold per map which I'd never gotten before so thanks for that also!
That randomizer strategy is actually pretty decent as it turns out. I sacrificed that tree for this video and levelling alts, but I'm going back for it later in the league.
Also worth noting is that there isn't a massive difference in gold quantity between white and red maps. You can run the same strategy on level 5 maps and make 15k-20k/map, but much faster since everything gets one shot and you can mostly ignore the loot.
@parkerault2607 interesting. I'm generally not a fan of downgrading maps, as I feel you should aim to run content you can handle. High tier maps have too many advantages otherwise, I feel.
Delve gives good XPS fast up to a point, if you know how to delve. If not it's pretty rippy. I always get stuck in generally leveling at about 95 ish. Nothing seems to push much beyond that consistently with any amount of ease without also being very risky. I gave up ritual because it was very rippy early on, but if it truly has been nerfed I'll try it again. Nice to see some SSF content.
Great video as always Thy! Lots and lots of good advice, I know most of it by heart. If only I could adhere to it, and keep away from juicing the maps. Trade league does that to you, you want those jackpot drops!
I would likely juice more in trade as well. I used to. These days, I'm fairly disciplined to make it to 100 first, in this case with my RF chieftain. And then juice with cast on death portal. The character in the footage, despite sort of a glass Cannon, is almost 98. The strategy is definitely working
Thanks for another great video! I don't think I heard you mention Harvest, is that just a joke in terms of final exp given the time you spend interacting with it?
I think it is way too tedious and completely takes you out of the maps. Also, some of those monsters are super dangerous, like the bear stomps. I don't think it is worth it, and harvest crafting is superseded by Rog and Ritual I feel, at this point.
Nice and interesting choice. For me it's already to dangerous. I'm the world champion in dumb dying. But I will give it a shot. :-) My personal record is lvl 95 and for 92 until 95 I choosed heist contracts. I think it's pretty fast also for gem leveling.
Heist is good because it doesn't get the effect of your "increased effect of map mods" nodes, which can turn somewhat tame red tier map mods into killers.

Yes very true. Let me pin this comment, it is a good addition.

Thanks so much 🙏🙏. I will, got plenty of stuff in the pipeline 😄

Yes true. Chaos res cap was already mandatory last league, so I'm a bit surprised to hear this was the reason. I've seen even experienced people rip

Ritual feels pretty good honestly. Interesting about delve, I might try that out on a new character
For my melee build I got to 90 np and then I had to actually tweak my build to go above T13maps - added petrified blood and now I'm omw to 100.

@@Thyworm Don't you run into the issue where portaling into the thing that killed you kills you again?
hi do u upload SSF unique strat again? cuz GGG nerfed...its not a good 3.24 anymore
I'm looking into it. The old one is dead for sure. I'm trying a few things still, so it's being worked on for sure.

Do you found "omen of connection" in all your rituals?
No, it is very rare. I have not found a single one actually

Heist is actually very solid xp too. I might try that as well this League. I've been putting it off, I haven't run a single contact yet.
@@Thyworm If you need essence scarabs is heist a good way. Almost in every essence chest is one essence scarab

Heist doesn't get any atlas passive point though, it is a standalone system in that sense, right?
@@Thyworm nah no atlas passives for the heist itself... But for finding more contracts and grand heists
