Syrian rebels enter Aleppo for 1st time in 8 years in shock offensive

Syrian government forces are reportedly on the defensive in Aleppo after rebels entered the country’s second-largest city for the first time in eight years. The surprise attack has added more uncertainty to a region already destabilized by Israel’s dual conflicts with Hamas and Hezbollah.
