    Loved every minute! I’ve used horses/mules all my 74 years! You are not hurting them! I trust you feed them to give them the energy they need! Daily use makes them tough. Is it the soil that has killed the pinion trees?

    Man, you're awesome! Being a AK hunting guide we have pretty much the same beliefs. Let's be friends. Tough life, tough being.

    Love how you challenge your horses. If people do not understand your methods, screw them. How often do we train ourselves to the upper limit so we can perform at a lower limit? As a cyclist, I trained harder for any upcoming race so the race wod feel like a walk in the park. Love your analogy for SEAL training. I was a submarine and we trained everyday for what feared every submarine, flooding and fire. That training made us comfortable for the teal thing and yes, Gore's ate common on submarines. Love ya and keep up the challenge.

    Having helped to round up sheep in the Falklands Islands in the early to mid 80's on the best sure footed horses I've ever ridden that looked a cake walk tbh. So i personally thought it was a shame about the patronising part at the start!!!! Other than that very enjoyable. 👍

      What a fun adventure that must have been. As time goes on you may see trails that frighten you😳 we have to be careful as my friends have put our riding in the public eye.

    i rode the ponies at Franke Park in Ft.Wayne,Ind. with my kids 30 years ago. Got drunk and rode a Trotting Horse bareback with a longneck Coors with finger stuck in for cap. Horse knew i was stupid and ran me thru some apple trees! lol She ran back to the house where the party was and I jumped off and rolled,,didnt spill a drop. The Horse didnt run 20 feet,just stopped and looked at me. The Owner rode up laughing at me and thanking the horse for going home. I never hiked a fat girl up a mountain before😎👍🏼better take some wet naps just in case😁

    I agree with your training process, but I do think you're pushing your horses to walk to fast. The white horse being ponied was breathing pretty labored.

      He watches the weakest link for when to stop, the go fast but stop often. I think it’s because it’s the best way to build muscle and endurance.

    You said we would see how you go up the so called steep mtn. BUT you just show riding on FLAT GROUND & Then you DON'T SHOW how you do it..!!! You just stop at a not so steep place & say you're Halfway!!!!!! LMFAO!!!!

    Doesn’t look that bad to me I’ve done worse you guys should think about losing a little weight to help your horses out

    • @lilylindgren2878
      @lilylindgren2878 Рік тому

      They’ve done worse too, but I’ve ridden that trail, and they filmed mostly at flat stopping points. The horses he rides can carry his weight easy, he brings the young men to ride the horses that aren’t as fit.

    • @Steve-vx2xp
      @Steve-vx2xp Рік тому

      @@lilylindgren2878 So your horses are in shape and can carry a load doesn’t mean you should force them to carry unnecessary weight get off your ass push away from the table and make your animals life just that much easier
      I know what I asked my horses to do because I do it myself with a pack and I am 60 years old
