Hi Becky from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺, I found your channel on the day you found out you were having a baby, my life has been crazy hectic ever since and I haven’t had much time to spend on UA-cam and especially watching longer videos, But I just wanted to Congratulate both you and your husband on Baby A and tell you that I very much admire you for keeping your precious baby away from social media and off your channel, I personally think that children shouldn’t be exposed to social media with so many trolls floating around on various channels of late, So I’m Really Proud of You from one Mumma to another, although my children have all grown up now and I wasn’t brought up in a world of social media and was late to the whole social media thing, when I get more time for myself I’ll go back and watch some of your videos But I did watch your two part birth story, which was the best I’ve seen on UA-cam without showing personal photos and videos of the birth of baby A. Congratulations to both of You and Enjoy him, because they grow up so fast before your eyes. Blessings from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺💙💙💖

Talk about changing plans, my father passed away four days before Christmas so we went home for funeral. Then got stranded at my brother's till after Christmas due to weather. After we got back home we came down with co-vid. Flexible is optimal word. Have a blessed New Year!
I'm in Buffalo and as some people saw the weather was so severe. All our plans for the holidays were changed but I was just thankful to be safe and warm at home. We celebrated with family on New Year's Day.
Loved the cooking with Rene. Joined her channel as well. My Christmas was trying to save my 14 year old Doberman, so worth it. Praise the Lord she is still with us.
We did experience a change at Christmas. My Sister's house had frozen pipes and the pump to pump water from the well also broke. My Brother in Law was trying to fix it so they could continue to host Christmas dinner on Boxing day but it ended up moving to my house with Chinese food. This is also after the snowstorm shut down parts of the 401 and the secondary highways into our town due to the blowing snow and cars getting stuck and then completely covered in snow. As much as plans changed it is still much better than Christmas 2020 and 2021 in lockdown.
Hi Jesse! I'm still learning how to safely can, while making things taste good! I've only been canning for a year or so. I will definitely share once I feel as if you all would WANT to eat what I've canned. ;)
Our plans changed too. My family and my sister and her kids were going to drive to Arkansas to visit out parents since they just moved away this summer. But my parents got Covid. It was honestly a blessing in disguise since the weather was so bad it would’ve been a dangerous trip.
Becky you have helped me this past year more then you know. My husband passed away January 13, 2022 unexpectedly on our youngest grand daughters birthday. I am still grieving alot, but find comfort watching you. I am so happy for you and Josh. My husband's name is Rene
Thank you all so much. Becky is like a ray of sunshine and I love watching her. So, my husband, as I said, was Rene. We named our daughter Rebecca and our son Joshua. I think it's neat
Love your homemade gifts! Nothing better than getting a gift that you know someone went to an extra effort to make or shared something with you that you know they love doing, like your love for gardening. It shows that a lot of love went into it. I am an artist, so I love to make special paintings as gifts, and I also sew and crochet, so i usually will make something for baby gifts and birthdays…
@@bowler8 What? Who? People who make things and share with people who know will appreciate those things, don’t do it because they are cheap…anyone can buy a gift..thats easy. Putting in time and effort isn’t cheap. Theres a lot invested into handmade gifts.
Always so nice to see Renee in the kitchen with you! You two have such great chemistry! Baby “A” was stretching in the background while you were separating family gift items on your table.
I love how you are never bothered if you have to adapt your recipes or things go wrong , this is what makes you so relatable to us, we all make mistakes it’s normal, glad you are off the BP meds now ❤
So nice of you to fix breakfast for Josh, and then for you & Renee to get that quality time together! What a wonderful blessing to have such a beautiful home to entertain family in and share with baby A!
I can’t believe that you started your channel back so soon after what you’ve been through. Glad you have got all those freezer meals ready so you can snuggle with your baby!! My husband and I had the same schedule with both of our babies, I’m also so very happy to have a hands-on Dad!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Was anyone else telling Renee that the recipe for pumpkin pie filling is on the back of the can? Becky to the rescue! I love seeing Renee again, in fact I love when she cooks with her mom, too. I think that any way I get to see a video from Becky makes my day better. We definitely need more people like her and Josh and their families in this world.
It has been so long since I made a pumpkin pie that I forgot about that! I always used the Libby pie recipe - now I just get one from Costco if Becky doesn't bake one for us. ;)
Quick tip for any type of potato casserole…put the frozen potatoes in the refrigerator a day or so before so they defrost. It makes them taste much better in the casserole and less “freezery” tasting, if that’s a word lol
My Christmas plans changed drastically I ended up having brain surgery and did not get out of the hospital till Christmas day. The weather was so bad I ended up staying a couple of days at my brother's because he lived closest to the hospital. I am mending well and hosted 10 of my family new year's day for Christmas. In a very laid back form from my normal over the top celebration but the best part is that we were together happy and healthy.
You are so lucky to have a nice mother in law that you can enjoy holidays with. My MIL was awful, myself and my children haven’t seen her in 22yrs. I wish we had what you do, be grateful every day.
The pumpkin bars are one of our families favorite, everyone loves them, Our receipe is 30oz solid pack pumpkin and add all the evap milk, cinnamon, brown sugar. We add nuts to the topping. Thanks for all your great videos.
Becky, I cook a lot of oatmeal in the morning and I've learned a very simple trick. First-NEVER run a hot pan under water as it can cause the bottom to warp. So, just let your pan sit on the back of the stove until it cools. Then, bring it to the sink, put a bit of dish soap in the pan and fill it with hot water. Put it off to the side and let it sit for a couple of hours while you're working around the rest of the meal or whatever your busy with. Then, bring the pan to the sink and using something like a paper towel (so you don't gunk up your dish brush) run the pan under warm water and sweep the towel around the pan. The oatmeal will come out in a sheet that will rinse easily away. So simple and so protective of your high end pans! Love your channel.
I love when you get to cook with Renee!! She's always so comforting and it's fun seeing where Josh get's his sweetness from! Also I LOL'd when Josh walked in an stopped at the door, made eye contact with the camera, and then went ninja mode to the desk, anyone else? As always, love to watch ya do your thing Becky!!
It was so kind of you to be flexible with family and willing to shift gears and host Christmas, then change again! You two collaborating on that pumpkin recipe was pretty cute, can’t wait to see how it was ! It was just fun to see your mom in law and a sneak peek of josh !!! Blessings
Oh my goodness Becky, is that a live edge table? You're just packing up all the gifts and putting in them in the gift bag and I'm just in awe of that gorgeous table! @@2endeavour a live edge table has one edge that, instead of being cut straight like most boards, it is still the natural, organic shape of the tree surface, and the bark has been left on. Our plans changed too. My family and my sister and her kids were going to drive to Arkansas to visit out parents since they just moved away this summer. But my parents got Covid. It was honestly a blessing in disguise since the weather was so bad it would’ve been a dangerous trip.
I love Renée - she’s awesome ❤
I LOVE the little smile and calm that appeared when you said you were going to cuddle your baby 🥰
Becky you have helped me this past year more then you know. My husband passed away January 13, 2022 unexpectedly on our youngest grand daughters birthday. I am still grieving alot, but find comfort watching you. I am so happy for you and Josh. My husband's name is Rene
I'm so sorry for your loss
I’m so sorry you lost your husband , Rene . May God bless and comfort you
I’m so sorry for your your loss, Judy. May joy fill your and your family’s new year, and may a loving embrace find each of you when you need one. 🧡
So sorry Judy. I’m glad you can find comfort here - Becky is a ray of sunshine and hope!
Thank you all so much. Becky is like a ray of sunshine and I love watching her. So, my husband, as I said, was Rene. We named our daughter Rebecca and our son Joshua. I think it's neat
I can see Josh gets his sweet spirit from his Mom. ♥️
So great to see Renee again! Love when you two cook together.
My son and I love watching you and your family. ❤️ 🙏
@@bowler8 The more you bash the more I’ll report.
I recycle bags and tissue too! What’s inside is what’s important. 😊
I bet your mother in law absolutely loves you. Your family is so sweet and kind. It just shines off them.
I am so glad Renee has a channel, I LOVE her, she is so calm and adorable🥰
Wow,baby Acre’s first Christmas already.Take time and enjoy all the firsts.🎄
It goes way too fast. My first baby just turned 30!
This was adorable! Becky is truly the Queen of the Kitchen Riff!! 🤎🤎🤎
Rene is such a great addition to your videos, she is so sweet!
I agree!
Becky your mother in law is so blessed to have you as a daughter in law too! ❤️
Does anyone else wave back when Renee waves at us? LOL
Yes indeed
Hahaha yup me too
I wave at Renee also
I do but figured I would keep it to myself 😆.
Every time! 😂
It's so nice to see Josh's Mom again; it's been awhile!😊
Always so nice to see Renee in the kitchen with you! You two have such great chemistry! Baby “A” was stretching in the background while you were separating family gift items on your table.
I love how you are never bothered if you have to adapt your recipes or things go wrong , this is what makes you so relatable to us, we all make mistakes it’s normal, glad you are off the BP meds now ❤
So nice of you to fix breakfast for Josh, and then for you & Renee to get that quality time together! What a wonderful blessing to have such a beautiful home to entertain family in and share with baby A!
Good to see Renae again. We know where josh gets his sweetness from. Great video Beckie.
I saw an arm playing in the bassinet behind Becky, so sweet ❤ can’t wait until Baby A finds his voice. I hope we get to hear him🧢💙🐣🐶
That was so cute lol :D
I can’t believe that you started your channel back so soon after what you’ve been through. Glad you have got all those freezer meals ready so you can snuggle with your baby!! My husband and I had the same schedule with both of our babies, I’m also so very happy to have a hands-on Dad!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
@@bowler8 Wishing for some? Get a job.
I always used the Libby pie recipe - now I just get one from Costco if Becky doesn't bake one for us. ;)
I saw Baby Acre's hand! It was so cute! Glad you had a quiet, peaceful Christmas! You are doing great!
What a lovely mother in law Becky has! Great relationship cooking together ❤❤
Hope you’re feeling better soon. God bless.
We haven't celebrated Christmas yet. I ended up in the ER Christmas Eve and admitted Christmas day. Finally home recouping. Great video.😁
Hope you’re feeling better
You are so lucky to have a nice mother in law that you can enjoy holidays with. My MIL was awful, myself and my children haven’t seen her in 22yrs. I wish we had what you do, be grateful every day.
Home made gifts are always the best
Renee seems like a perfect mother-in-law ❤️❤️❤️ so sweet 🥰
The pumpkin bars are one of our families favorite, everyone loves them, Our receipe is 30oz solid pack pumpkin and add all the evap milk, cinnamon, brown sugar. We add nuts to the topping. Thanks for all your great videos.
What a blessing to be able to enjoy cooking together with both your mother and mother-in-law.
I absolutely love your Channel, I was baking most of the day yesterday for my boyfriends lunches, relaxing.
Renee, I hope that you do cooking and gardening on your channel. You have a great presence.
Oh, I can't wait for this cooking collaboration with your mother-in-law! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! 🥰
Those are the best gifts !!! Nothing better than home cooked gifts! I think you both would be fun to cook with!!!
Your mother in law is so sweet and gentle .Man do I wish mine was even a little like that !
I haven't canned for years but about 5 years ago when I was I would do basically the same thing you're doing about giving them the fruits of my labor as Christmas gifts so KUDOS to you Mama 💖🎄❄️🎁💪💪💪💞
@@2endeavour a live edge table has one edge that, instead of being cut straight like most boards, it is still the natural, organic shape of the tree surface, and the bark has been left on. I have to go back and watch the video again; I didn't notice that. After all of the videos I've watched of Becky's, I can't believe I've never noticed that she has a live edge table!
