My understanding is Aerogel is also used in Mars rovers to remove moisture from sensitive electronics. It can be produced to do just the opposite and remove moisture even out of a vacuum. If true, could you use it like a super light weight pipe to pull water from the bottom of a moon crater to the top? At the bottom of the crater on the polls there is no light but at the top perpetual light to grow food. So is this a way to transport and purify moon water.
Is this available in long thin strips strips that can be use for fire-whip making? I’m looking for an alternative material to the traditional Kevlar, which burns up too fast in my opt.
Which adhessive is recomended for fiberglass aerogel blanket? Is the same between exterior wall of a flat and aerogel and the same between aerogel and exterior coating?
