Good video but as an American I wish someone would've given the ole boy with the blaze orange a proper jacket. A driven bird in Scotland shouldn't have to die by the hand of someone in blaze orange. Love your show and videos!
It looks a lot like these Pheasant cocks were released that same day all together at the same spot just to be driven into the general direction of the lined up " hunters" . MapleCreekOutdoors is right, this has little to do with real hunting.
Dear Hood': ....... WHEN? were they ever 'sacred birds'....... ? -even the heathen Buddhist Chinese wanted to get rid of them....... I believe they bribed us in Opium to deport them .... -and they are infesting my west Canada.........................please send help. thx! cs
I understand ... I am a North Canada man ....... I have made 'pets out of everything ..... bears wolves jackrabbits .... even the local women .......[!] But we were taught an early age ... that pheasants gang up on you...and drop you in the ocean ..... ?what's to be done? cs
Hunting is fucking stupid, they should ban it. Come on, how would you like it if you were just minding your business as a bird and BAM stupid human shoots you out of nowhere.
+InsaneHyena They hatch and raise the birds, they care for them until they are released. So the birds would not even be there if not for them and will not be there at all if they stopped shooting today. Kind of like raising a chicken for consumption just harvesting it in a much more fun way. How many gamebirds have you hatched and released for the enjoyment of bird watchers lately?

Magnifica jornada de caza.
Not a big fan of driven bird hunts. Flush hunts are actually sporting. This is just point and shoot.
Wow what a place to shoot

..please tell that to your Uncle Jethro ;
with the over -alls , [no shirt] and three teeth.
And his sunburnt hound.
-with three teeth.
Tweed or nothing pal
Why are they dressed like executives?
Because Camouflage is for soldiers.
I don't understand why shooting animals is a sort. Are the gunman athletes
Birds had nae chance.....
This is about as close to hunting as picking out a steak at the store is. Estate.. huh.. I like to go hunting in this place called the wilderness.
Canada wouldn't be much if it wasn't for the British, especially the scots. Sorry our island isn't up to your standards.
Thats why its called pheasant shooting, its not pheasant hunting

I still can't believe you kill these beautiful birds for sport
Poor work trying to shift the topic more like.
Stop shooting these pheasants, they are sacred birds

They're beautiful and cute creatures. If you ever tamed one with seeds you'd realize how innocent and loving they are.
