"The panic among Democrats about whether President Joe Biden will step aside has officially reached the Can Taylor Swift Save Us? stage.
According to a report from Semafor, two “well connected” Democrats have been circulating a memo to party donors proposing a plan for a “blitz primary” to replace Biden. The memo - written by Georgetown law professor and former Obama administration staffer Rosa Brooks, along with venture capitalist and Democratic donor Ted Dintersmith - proposes a month-long primary featuring six candidates who receive the most votes from party delegates. The delegates would then decide the party’s eventual nominee right before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago - which starts on Aug. 19."

The USA is a "flawed democracy" on the Democracy Index because of 1) plurality voting 2) the electoral college 3) the Senate 4) allowing state politicans to draw district lines 5) money in politics 6) no representation for Puerto Rico and D.C.
Solutions:
1) use rank choice or approval voting 2) remove the electoral college so all votes are equal 3) the voting power of each state is the % contribution of the national GDP 4) all states must use an independent commission to draw district lines 5) remove Citizens United, etc 6) make PR a state, and merge DC with Maryland

It’s question of which enemy we’d rather be fighting.
Part of what keeps the duopoly the only viable menu is the “first past the post” voting system. To change that, to get STAR or ranked-choice voting, we need at the state level to change enough incumbents of one big party or the other.
Being registered to vote in primaries or caucuses gives more say than getting stuck with a Hobson’s choice come the general.
Again, there’s an interstate compact that will effectively allow the popular vote to elect the President - if and when enough States sign on.

And he blamed the truck driver, Curtis C Dunn, and defame him, claiming he quote “drank his lunch,” while Investigators found no such evidence. And just two weeks after their death, he uses his son’s injuries as a photo op, as he’s being sworn in as senator. I also found it very interesting listening to what Jill’s first husband, Bill Stevenson, had to say about how Joe Biden threatening him, and told him to give Jill the house, and the corvette (yup, THAT corvette) in the divorce, and just weeks after he refused, he was suddenly hit with a “tax evasion” investigation, and subsequently found guilty…sound familiar to anybody?
Biden has always been very much about Biden. That's why he won't step down willingly. He's also open about his corruption in speech after speech. He's a politician's politician.
