Another aweome Vlog. I can say with full confidence, as a 50 yr old, you men are living your best life at the most important time of your lives. You both keep up the good living. And thank you
among- please review that mystery ranch in a video ASAP or write up why you said you didn't like it all that much. I am considering the same pack and wondering why you aren't impressed. thanks!
I've only taken it out on one trip so it would be disrespectful to give my final thoughts on it. I just wasn't impressed at a first glance, but it's far from getting to my conclusion.
What tent/teepee is this and stove? Would you ever do a review on it? Or maybe just respond. I’ve always wanted a similar teepee with the stove but want your honest opinion on that vs a regular tent setup.
This is the Luxe Octopeak 6p Tipi. I don't have any experience with any others so I don't know where it ranks up. It works and does well for us so that's all I can ask for now.
A small batteryless "ecofan" on that tent stove circulates air like a dream !!! We call them Burbots - "Eelpouts" over here in MN/WI...... I heard they're ok eating - What do they taste like when compared to other fish ??? I'd assume catfish.
@@WitkowskisFishingSickness Honestly no... When I was a teenager ellpouts we're considered an invasive fish like a sucker or carp and nobody kept them.... Until recently I haven't heard of anyone eating them & they're popular now. . . .
Awesome video, Brother Samong! Even when you don't catch anything, you still made this video super entertaining! 👌 And yes, burbot is indeed FIRE🔥🔥!! Great eating fish!! 💯
Nice video, So great to see you camping and Fishing once again. How about some ice fishing? I know you like hunting , but I don't follow that, I do enjoy your fishing with friends. Thanks 🙏😍🎣👍
Here in Oregon the cops give you a ticket for a fire on river Bank, I always blamed on the guy that just left.thats on the Wallowa river steel head fishing need a mettal garage can lid to burn in Haul out ashes
@@kevinfeckner3444 Mystery Ranch Beartooth. It was my first time out with it so I didn't want to knock it based off first impressions. A lot of personal error goes into getting the packs to fit right so I did not want to spew any negative things to it without heavy-use first.
Fair enough. I was just curious because I’ve been watching your other pack reviews (well done btw). I am awaiting r to he arrival of my Kifaru Stryker XL. Really appreciate your content Samong. Aloha🤙🏼
Fun stuff bud, I haven't forgotten you, my Rig is in the shop, as soon as I get it back, I'll get a package sent your way, I hoping for the first week of February.
Hey how far away was that shot of the mule deer right when you got to camp. And was that full zoom on that camera. If it is that's pretty damn good for a camcorder. O think I might have to get me one
Aloha Samong!! My family and I are going to be in Vancouver, WA mid Feb…. Is there a place I could fish during that time? What species are available? Also, little tip…. For night fishing. We usually tape a mini glow stick to the rod tip or they make some glow sticks with rod snaps so at night so you can see the action on a bite. 🤙🏼
February is a great time for winter steelhead on the rivers around there. North of town There's the Lewis, Kalama, and Cowlitz. Jump across the big C and the Sandy and Clackamas are also known for decent runs. Depending in the regs they sometimes open parts of the Columbia or Willamette for keeper sturgeon but even CnR for those is fun. Feel free to pm me if you an more questions about the area, that's where I grew up.
@@dorsalfishing Thanks for reaching out!!!🤙🏼 We fished rockfish and surf perch in the summer and my fishing permits still good… I’ll check it out and I will definitely hit you up if I need some pointers 🤙🏼

We paint the rod tips with glow in the dark jig paint... Or reflective trail markers
