I bought a pair of rings and I'm doing just 4 reps of some exercises like (tuck chin ups) but I do 5-6 sets. So I think I'm gainin pure strenght and not muscle. Or pure strenght comes with more muscles?
You guys really do the best calisthenics/fitness explanations, you're my biggest inspiration not only for fitness goals but also content quality as well. You've inspired me to really step my game up in 2018, thank you.
I don't even know what to add to what guys already said about the quality of your videos. Just maybe a big THANK YOU for doing this for all of us. You guys rock!
hands down this is THE best and most informative workout video I have ever seen in all those years practicing calisthenics. Even as an advanced trainee I learned a lot, thank you for providing us this knowledge!
Thank you! I am getting used to watch your videos. I feel so grateful. You're absolutely the best and the most professional calisthenics channel on UA-cam. Hoping to see you guys someday and say thank you.
very unique video! almost nobody talks about rep speed when it comes to the whole "8-12 Reps" - thing. but rep speed is a huge factor because it determs how much tension you transfer into your muscles during a workout. It's no surprise that you guys are great athletes. but I really like that you don't tell Bullshit to the people. Making progress in calisthenics can be hard and often it comes much slower than you wish. But there is one golden rule: Train hard - but smart (not this fucking "go hard or go home" shit from Bodybuilding which often just leads to unnecessary injuries). Your video proves again that you guys are definitly promoting the smart training style....great work! Thank you for sharing precious informations for free...and happy Xmas! :)
So much information in this video. I need to re-watch it several times, to fully appreciate it. One of the best videos concerning fitness i've ever watched. Well done guys!
The only bad advice here is going to failure. It has been established many times that "2 in the tank" rule works better in the long run. Since if you go to failure every last set of each excercise, your fatigue levels would be too high and recovery period would have to be longer. Which equals less total volume.
Amazing video! Im transitioning from body building to calisthenics and really had no clue how to program but now i have a much better grasp on things. Keep up the good work, Gents!
just wow. this video is on such an insanely high level of information and motivation, thank you Alex and Sven for sharing this amazing content with us! :)
heilige Scheiße! This video is wonderful! Your editing and production skills have improved almost as much as your calisthenic skills! This is why I love this channel.
How does the rest time between sets alter the different training goals? For example how long should you rest for the Hypertrophy range? Amazing video btw
These are definitely the best fitness videos out there. I'm so glad you walk through the full explanation of everything. For a total nerd like myself, it's much appreciated.
On a sidenote: that was pretty cool how you lit the scene in the foreground, letting the scaffolding fade to the black background. Just wanted to let you know, that people notice the efforts. ;)
Volume/training frequency and how different muscle groups response different was also not discussed but those aspect are better presented in a program walk through.
Amazing, in using Calisthenics to build strength, muscle and work up to complex skills and you made my workouts 10 times harder, turns out I had to go back to the very basics haha but after a workout with 4 second reps for pull ups, push ups, dips and rows, my body is shaking haha thankyou so much!
I am often in awe after I click on one of your videos and I see what the human body is capable of. I like it that you can really see what the correct form is, but holy cow!
The quality of your video always was amazing. Still, I am amazed to see how much it improved since you are filming in that gym ! Congrates guys and thank you !
Monju Inc. please leave nutrition to people who studied it for 5+ yrs and are licensed. Do what you're good at but we have too many unlicensed people giving out poor information in America, and people on UA-cam don't even know they get free individualized nutrition counseling through their health insurance from someone who is licensed
You guys are truly beasts. You are masters at the craft of controlled body fitness. I've never seen anything like it. On a side note, you remind me of characters you'd find in early game Zelda or some other late 90's, early 2000's RPG. It's the short, bald, muscularity with the accent and masterful teaching style.
Massive content. Outdone in all aspects also in terms of light, color, photograph, background, minimalist to focus, calm and direct to the point, etc... Maybe the music could be in a lower level... Just thank you so much for all knowledge shared. The best by far.
I was just about to comment on training to failure but it wouldn't be a Calisthenicmovement video if you guys didn't get every detail. Awesome work on your videos!

Calisthenicmovement No mention of rest when discussing different training regimens? How could you leave that out?
Pure strength mostly comes from intramuscular coordination. Muscle size is not needed for pure strength
Love that new dark minimalistic look. Those studio shots must have been tedious to set up and film. Best video as always.
