I love how, late in the battle, you can still see the occasional B1 Battle Droid.
Right these guys lasted the whole war from beginning to end. They’ve seen some shit.
"All I am surrounded by is fear. And dead men." - Darth Vader
Seeing how the jedi and grievous pushed through the zombies with little or no effort when they had numbers, I wonder how this battle would have fared had everyone been released at the same time and just let the jedi lead with thousands of blasters firing for cover.
The Jedi need to be anchored. In every video I've seen, they push out beyond mutual support range and are flanked. If they can be limited to how far out they go, you wouldn't need blasters
Agreed, even before knowing, you don't put range weapons (blasters) out in front of melee weapons, and in this case you would use the knights to stop the horde so the blaster troops are never lost while they still can engage the enermy
They would have been massacred. The Jedi are only useful in confined spaces. The moment you put them out in the open and start thinning out their lines they become extremely vulnerable.
They would win, if commander would know for what "Retreat" is. Best assets lots because they were pushed too far and got too much spread, line was too thin and they died in the result.
@@reeceguisse17 they push out because otherwise you wouldn't get to see Darth Vader in action and that was the whole premise of his video jedi easily hold the line in like every battle.
Watching the hills of bodies pile up as more come over to add the height, while the defence stand in the valley of huge rivers of blood is epic.
It affects the outcome as well. The dead literally become a barrier. The blood gets too deep to traverse. You see choke points.
@@quintrapnell3605 The bodies also block firing lanes and neutralize kill zones. A lot of the Dakka is wasted as it reaches only the first one or two lines of the zombies that are just passing over the ridge.
I’m just trying to imagine the impact on the environment, the subterranean water sources and even the air quality. Imagine the smell after a week 😂
Holy crap when you pushed that line of Jedi forward they went into straight up lawn mower mode, that was awesome.
Honestly, the Jedi almost did the entire job on their own. Way I see it though, the defense line just got really thin when they overpushed and started to get surrounded.
That one smart clone trooper that backed all the way up with the Grievouses 🤣
The blood pool killed them by drowning them. Then the blood pools saved them by forcing the zombies to funnel around them. Interesting how that all works.
Nothing will save the clean armored troopers and droids once vader finds their lack of combat engagement lacking 😂
The sound of "Roger,Roger,Roger" at the start would've been deafening.
And yet, Roger never arrived to the battlefield. You'd think he'd hurry the hell up with so many people calling for him.
I just love how at the end all remaining Defensive units begin a Counter-Offensive. This easily signified victory.
Seeing Anakin start his part of the fight on the high ground nearly brought a tear to my eye. And then in true Vader style, he killed everything in his path.
The super deep pools of blood in these are crazy, just seeing it collect and get so high is amazing 😂
îts a glitch or bad programming and absolute nonsense. there simply not enough deaths to create such rivers. even if every zombie has 10 liters blood, 100 million liter blood would be
100 000 quubic meter, so we need 2 meter hight to drown them. thats then 50 000 m². thats tiny. thats only like 500m x 100m in size. thats assuming zombies have twice as much blood than humans and all of them died. with a realistic blood volume our "sea" shrinks in half to 250mx50m but given the zombies are on at least 3 chokepoints each choke sea would shrink again to a 3rd of that. so like 75m x 17m
no really i hate that every of these sims gets decided by this bug
I never thought I’d need or have the opportunity to watch 10mil zombies vs a whole bunch of droids, various troopers and Vader. But holy crap I needed to see this and glad I had the opportunity. Thank you.
I look at the vast waves of fire flying over the zombies heads, and I think of Obi-Wan's famous quote from Episode 4: "And these blast points... Only Imperial Stormtroopers are this accurate."
This is the bloodiest thing I've ever seen. As the puddles turn to flash floods into rivers and lakes... seeing the stormtrooper standing atop another troopers lone corpse... can't blame him. How could you avoid it, let alone know. And as the bodies pile and the lines fall... watching the walkers swivel jankily in circles surely knowing they were next to go and yet prioritizing the zeds closest to the next line was a true display of honor. When the second one fell, I could only imagine that the gunner operator would then whip out a pistol blaster and free aim while he could until a surely lone and gruesome expiration. Then to see a member of the 501st pushed back so far as to meet the line of the Grievous copies (which I feel like that trooper was player operated but it's all the same since some moments before I saw another 501st trooper for a few frames as well) I was already long since stunned. The Jedi and Grievous pushes were heroic yet fleeting displays. And at this moment of writing I have the video paused at 33:38 and I see the snipers as the new front line with a bloodied walker still operating in the background; likely the last of its company; and with all the bodies and the blood rising I see the kill count hasn't even reached a billion... and I find it funny and twisted how this is the closest I've ever come to visualize how many souls there our of our species on this planet. I've never seen so many units at once and I've never seen so much blood. Thank God I didn't fall asleep and wake up to this. This better not find it's way into my dreams...
How the hell did I wind up here?
And why are all the commercials trying to sell me cheese its?!?
Never thought I'd find myself rooting for Darth Vader. Epic battle!
I love seeing the Jedi push through the hordes of zombies
Has a similar vibe to GOT Season 7 with that one episode if you catch my drift… “once the flames went out we knew what the rest of the army was in store for”
They could have cleared the field by themselves. Yes, they would eventually run away from their fire support, but that could be prevented by switching them to "Hold" from time to time.
I'm surprised the battle droids failed to hold back the Zombies. Technically, they should have held out indefinitely. There's no way the Zombies could hurt them. The most that could happen is the droids would get buried under a mountain of Zombies and eventually be unable to move. But they couldn't be killed or torn apart or TURNED.
They were buried under bodies eventually. That seems to be the method of death.
Well, the flood are able to take out prometheans in halo. Same logic applies
B1s are shown to be pretty flimsy. There are multiple occasions where a clone tears off a droid's head on screen.
Those bodies flying through the air is a high quality comedy. 🤣Love this!
If the battle was planned properly, the Jedi and other melee attackers would be in the front lines with the clone and storm troopers supporting from rear positions with covering fire. Ideally from elevated positions. Better yet, give the droids lightsabers or vibroblades and let them go to town.
Hell, make a Battle droid that can wield multiple Sabers and have a blender mode. That or have a few Grievous's with a light saber in each hand, go back to back.
I find it hard to believe that even with that many targets, a storm trooper hit someone.
There was a lack of main characters so they actually hit their targets.
Except I think those were all clone troopers, a lot better then stormtroopers, too bad Palpatine decided they weren’t worth the investment.
70-80 percent of the entire formation was blocked from firing until the ones in front died. Staggered fronts, interlocking fields of fire, and maneuver would have eliminated the horde a lot faster with far fewer casualties.
I don't think the game gets that complex. Alot of the troops didn't even know where to fire. As long as the zombies didn't get in the middle of the formation, it was fine.
Formation was made to look like a star destroyer after all. It was always going to be ineffective.
It was literally an aesthetic design for the video stop taking it so seriously this isn't the art of war it's a fun UA-cam video
To think that 7 times the amount of real people than these zombies died during WW2 and that this pales in comparison of how many of ua would die in the event of nuclear war looks both unbeliveable and terrifying.
That last AT-TE at 16:00 while the Jedi are charging is awesome-looking. I've spent a lot of hours watching these videos and this is by far one of the coolest.
Friendly fire and stamina bar. Two things sorely needed in this
"And then the desert was painted with glorious blood". This is the way.
I’m imagining this as the Battle of Winterfell in the Star Wars universe. Brilliant!
Jedi helping Vader?
I always love a good guy-bad guy alliance.
Good job, putting the Trade Federation droids take the opening attack. Expandable, but enough to keep the zombie lines slowed up as massive support fire is dropped on them.
It looks like the Generals Grievous need a higher attack rate. Great battle, though.
when you realize the zombies hp is being jacked up to survive the damage it really takes away from the video
"Lord Vader, sir? Ahem, a bit of a bad news, m'lord... our entire army of loyal Jedi Guardians charged blindly into the oncoming horde, got surrounded, and is hence promptly slain to the last man. Ah, but a silver lining there, m'lord, hehe, we did manage to save some errr... ahem, clones, who survived by cleverly standing back and using the jedis as a shield."
When the Doom theme kicks in.
Also, i know Vader is a badass and all that... But shoutout to them droids, man. 👏👏👏
space and zombies are something that work so well together i'm amazed every space related franchise doesn't have some form or reference to zombies or parasites that just overtake entire worlds and cleverly spread to other worlds like the flood from halo
In my experience just a small push will cause the droids head to fall off in a slapstick fashion.
Battle droids are the perfect counter to zombies.
AT TE at the start is effing up. It needed to support the tip of the spear
It was extremely satisfying when you released the Jedi's and they pushed forward in the cleansing wave followed by the general grievous. Awesome video
Holy Crap!!!! That was really touch-n-go there, well done Vader.
Appreciate your videos! Gives me something to watch and relax to!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad to hear that you found the video enjoyable and relaxing.
Wow. Just the amount of blasterfire is staggering.
By the end, all I could think of was the kid from Jurassic Park 1 when the Rex got loose & killed the gallimimus.. lmao "LOOK at all the BLOOD!!"🤣
This was amazing! Thank you!
That was completely sick man, great watch
That is 43 minutes i will never get back, but i just could not stop watching :P
Those giant blood lakes are so metal!
It’s not like the storm and clone troopers r going to hit anything
the jedi push was epic af!
Awesome battle! Love this epic sized murder-fests!
That was epic!! Thank you 😊
The literal lake of blood was a nice touch
Grievous vaguely remembering the night sisters cleansing
That one trooper in with the grievouses like that big bird board meeting meme
Should also use droidikas and super battle droids or commando droids and magna guards for more muscle prior to regs and stormtrooper casualties start to mount but I'm sure he had a budget 😅
Most the Grievous mods are barely interacting
Droid be like, "I never thought I'd die side by side with a clone." The Clone Trooper smiles and says, "What about side by side with a friend" The droid replies, "Roger Roger!"
I'm glad while there was 50,000 troops on the field we had the opportunity to watch 25 of them at a time in a slow pan at ground level instead of the actual battle
Report! Zombies sir, thousands of them! It was good to see the boss get his hands dirty. I know he had fun.
The first time I've actually ever seen a stormtrooper hit a target.
Another great battle, wish the new machined unit had rotating main gun turret.
This is actually better than any of the prequels
This is Definitely what "STAR WARS HELL" must look like..!
What I though when the zombies reached the clankers: "Dovahaeris!" "Roger - roger"
You must have a crazy computer to handle all of that smoothly
Tbh, I would have tweaked the Jedi units to have a faster attack speed. They seem to swing their lightsaber slow in comparison to their moving speed. Also I would have had some more ranged units up on the buildings for the elevated fire support position. Otherwise, pretty good.
The problem with this simulation is the front line , the zombies in that number would crush the front line in minutes and push them back breaking in.. This simulation seems to have no physics for the amount of force generated by masses of bodies hitting each other.
First, we'd have to consider how the zombies would even go up a literal mountain of corpses with enough speed and without tripping in enough numbers to reach the troops.
Holy smokes that is a lot of blood.
Darth Vader is actually the tomatoe sauce maker.
zombies emerging from a river of their own blood running toward you… this is awesome.
Only took a Battle Simulator for a Stormtrooper to finally hit something 😂
amazing so much better than all the sequels combined well done :D
This confirms my long held belief that zombies don't get strategy.
@@redactedrider7606 Oh. Good point. It almost makes you wonder why someone would make a comment like "This confirms my long held belief that zombies don't get strategy."
The fact that there is so many zombies that the troopers and AT’s were drowning in blood is insane.
I felt bad for the giant battle tank droid when it got overwhelmed it looked like it was panicking
When those Jedi went on the attack they left nothing alive behind them, and went through Zombies like a buzz saw! I didn’t expect they could push out that far and take down soooo many!
built one heck of a wall from re-corpsing those zombies.
Seeing everything turn red from the center was so cool to see ngl.
Those blasters would be so damn hot in the first minute is crazy to even think about.
8:32 the stormtroopers up to their necks in a ocean of blood standing on bodies under them… this is like the coolest epic battle I’ve ever seen. That would be so so so cool to see in a movie
That was a blast lol very cool
The lakes of blood 😳 i feel for the Townspeople cleaning up the aftermath
That torrent of lasers though!… man what a sight. Truly terrifying on many levels.
Love it!
I like the amount of red milk! Maybe a castle on a hill or zombies coming up through a canyon like say the grand canyon? Only asking and saying. Great work anyway, alot of time and effort.🤠🇦🇺
When even a simulator understands lightsabers better than disney...
I wonder how many died due to friendly fire? :) Very nice job on this!
The starwars version of a pimple popping video. Absolutely gruesome and pointless, but infinitely satisfying.
the flying zombie corpses were definitely hilarious!
Love these! such an innovative youtube channel idea. i bought the game
Now the village has lake of blood xD cute remembrance of this battle :D
The title should be "Instant Zombie Chunky Salsa".
I’m just glad the stormtroopers finally got a chance to hit something.
Clones and Droids, this must be driving Capt. Rodger crazy.
My favourite bit was when one of the imperial troopers shot one of the zombies.
You dont have to watch this to know the zombies are walking into mincer.... but im glad you did
This got me thinking about Doom from 1993 and the Knee-Deep in the Dead campaign.
I love how Darth Vader’s “defense” “formation” involves 3 stages of riflemen in the line of fire of other stages of riflemen.
The frontline doesn’t bother to go prone or kneel. They just stand and everyone behind them has remarkable aim to prevent any fratricide.
One also wonders why such an oblong triangle formation was chosen instead of a circle. Every single corner of the triangle is exposed greater than 270°. Whatever.
The absence of friendly fire is the largest factor that makes this game unrealistic. The artillery or some Jedi or Grievouses should have been placed at these corners to make them last longer.
@@KoflerDavid the absence of friendly fire makes it unrealistic? For me it was the unrelenting horde of zombies fighting star wars characters. Lol.
I’m kidding of course. Thanks for the reply!
The topography of the battlefield has forever changed.
Never thought I'd see stormtroopers drowning in lakes of zombie blood...
That moment when Jedi begin counteroffensive...
31:52 Shout out to my guy on the roof taking shots at the zombies. Dude's the smartest trooper there, lol!
Stormtrooper: Never thought i'd die fighting beside a jedi before.
Jedi: How about next to a friend?
Stormtrooper: Ya, that I can do.
Fell Empire be like:
Zombie Palpatine: execute order 66
Stop making me cry
