People wondering why someone from the audience is being brought up - it means a lot for fans to be able to come on the stage and be so close to their idols and maybe even get a hug. I love Avril and I would want to participate in a meet&greet, but I've never seen this option for Europe.
I was lucky enough to be picked up on my last Avril concert which was in Cleveland last month, It felt like I won the lottery, I was so excited to be up with her and had her hug me, the feeling was simply indescribable.

@@bennywarren17 no actually we all had VIP tickets just needed to arrive early at the venue so we almost had guaranteed to be in the front row, these two girls arrived super early like at 9 am
And be on there phones the whole time 🤦♂️
but i can imagine they must have felt awkward but they shouldn't have agreed to go on stage
