I have a question. I started a dermested beetle colony in early November and have had them cleaning a turtle. I noticed that there are a lot of dead larvae, at least I think that they are dead because they have lost all the fuzz on their bodies, look shriveled, and are just sitting on top the substrate. I don't think that they have mites so I'm not sure what is going on with them. I mist them once a day because they are in a really dry shed and have the temp. at around 75 degrees. Do you have any thoughts on what might be happening with them? Thanks for the help!
@@FlockensNekroparlor I have them in a glass tank with a really tight woven screen on it and it has a heat pad that I can control the temperature of. I hope that is helpful. Also, do you have an email that I can send a picture to?

Yes! I ran out of jars that fit snakes, so they'll stay in there until I get more!

Hard to diagnose without seeing a picture. Are they exposed in the shed? Or are they in an environmentally controlled enclosure?
