I gotta admit, these tutorials having 1000 views are much better than those with 100,000 views.
I've seen thousands of tutorials and this was one of the MOST informative one I've ever seen.
The 2W-1H-3W-1H thing for the major scale was something I found very very helpful. I always had a problem mugging up the notes in a scale. I always used to see the scale chart I have. Now atleast I wouldn't have to see the charts for any major scales.
    Thank you very much buddy.

This was more than amazing. I really don’t know anything about music theory and I completed feel like I actually got it. I know I need practice and may take me a week or so to get it but this is very helpful. Thank u so much.

Greetings! I was wondering....when is it necessary to "find" the key of a song when you can play a song in any key of your own choice (particularly when we are playing songs by ear)? I heard that recording studios will often digitally transpose a song to change up and give it a certain feel, and that artists will change the key to better match their individual vocal range. Given these reasons, I'm having a hard time coming up with a list of good reasons for identifying the key to a song. I was scratching my head when one of the UA-cam videos on this topic claimed that finding the key to a song is one of the most important skills in learning to play music.
The only reason I can come up with is that a person may not know how to "pick" their own key and figure out which note to start the song's melody so that they end up playing the song in the chosen key (which would be a good topic to cover in a video). The other reason I can think of is that people are simply assuming that the key of the recorded song is the optimal key for playing the song - which is not always the case as mentioned above).
Of the eleven UA-cam videos I've reviewed so far on how to find the key, none of them identify/discuss the reasons for learning how to identify the key (tonic note) of a song. The only video that seemed to acknowledge this question I am asking was one that posted in its video description "does it really matter?" Addressing this question at the beginning of this video would be helpful to our viewers. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the reasons for find the key to song. :-)

You should have titled this Learning the major scale. Not very helpful for finding the key by ear.
