The "aura" thing of Rimuru is called "Demon Lord Haki". For most of the time Rimuru keeps it hidden, but if lower monsters or humans without much resistance are exposed to it, they are immediately forced into submission or even die. For the rest, it intimidates everyone around him if they're less powerful, but if someone is way more powerful than the user, then they won't be affected at all.
Well, if you were to appear in this world, you'd gain skills based on your deepest desires, so if you wanted to keep all your fame, you'd gain a skill that brings you all the attention from all over the world, spreading your name through every nook and cranny. I'm sure that skill would be really useful and you'd definitely like it.
A good way to support Laplace's suspicions, remember that Rimuru had to sleep for 3 days to finish his True Demon Lord awakening, and Walpurgis is within 3 days, so, as Laplace said, "Clayman is panicking a bit".
I think there is a character like that already, he has just not appeared in the anime. If I remember correctly, he ends up famous without the skills to back it up, because of his Unique Skill. And no one is noticing.
And gazel use "hero's haki" or "champions haki" when he was testing youm.
it was more then 3 days Rimuru was asleep. i think it was about the amount of time the army was going to take to attack.
Its like "intimidation" from the direwolfs when rimuru first went to dwargon, that caused him to be imprisoned, but on massive steroids.
That ending scene between Clayman and Laplace actually gave me a fair amount of respect for Laplace, the guy is clearly smarter than Clayman and it also establishes that although still not a 'good' character he doesn't agree with the slaughter of civilians. Very well written character in my opinion and also makes me think he is a lot more powerful than he lets on.
Funny how Rimuru just basically said "I'm going to reshape your world in a way it pleases me" and all those "fine" tacticians and political figures are happily smiling about it.
Probably because of how they have seen what Rimuru has done with his nation they want to see that for the world
@@ryanr4156 Not quite. They are basically being told "I'm going to do whatever I want with this world and you're going to get part of the profits if you leave me to do my thing."
Because from everything they've seen Rimuru isnt gonna do anything they'd find objectionable. He also isnt gonna change the whole world- just his bit of it. Ofcourse that willhave impact on the nations around him too- but the smart ones realise they can benefit from those changes too if they get onboard.

Despite the title of Evil Dragon, that's all it really was, a title.
Back before he was sealed by Unlimited Imprisonment, Veldora, while not evil, did rampage a lot,leading to the impression he was evil.
LoL, Clayman's mad about Laplace suggesting he's being manipulated, but unfortunately for Clayman, he should have listened to Laplace.
Without spoiling... Clayman = Du.. St.. um... nope.. IdiotMan.... there.. that works...
I always liked the bit where veldora says its fine to use his name any way rimuru wants because he has already decided to share his karma.
p.s Veldora wasnt evil more just like a natural disaster who caused huge damage just from doing little whimsical things without thinking.. His soul bond and time spent with rimuru and the others actually super changes his attitude and awareness of his actions.. He is still reckless and selfish but he is much less likely to cause wonton distruction and think about his actions effects on others.
(Not by this point in the anime - i mean by a dozen or so volumes of the LN)
The setup for all the amazing events to happen is so exciting!!!! Clayman did mess with the one person he should not have messed with

Kyo Kara Maoh give it a chance, man. I is a very underated anime on early 2000's so there aren't many people who know about it and that is a huge shame. Great characters, amazing, rich story, and overall a cute, fun and SAFE story.
Well, when Cheri-sama isn't around it is safe. But yeah, Kyou Kara Maou is a good one. Though some parts are handled better in the manga.

This is the main issue I had with season 2 part 2. The meeting drags on for too long. I know it's plot building and necessary for the story but it didn't need to last for as many episodes as it did. The wait is well worth it though.
Just a piece of advice about this story in general... This is not a shonen battle story. This is NOT dragonball Z with a slime instead of a saiyan. This story is NOT about the fights. It is about political intrigue, humor and such. Though the battles are good, they are NOT the main point of the story.

Yeah, volumes 8-11 are pretty slow. There's no serious combat after the Falmuth war arc in volume 7. Volumes 8-11 are mostly political and world building and Rimuru building his kingdom. The main combat until the end of volume 11 is a tournament arc. And some combat at the end of volume 10. This series is far more about politics and economics until after volume 11. From volume 12 onwards the time fighting begins to pick up until it's almost constant war between the Western Nations and the Eastern Empire. So season three will have a pretty exciting first half and a much slower second half. This series gets a little slow for anime viewing sometimes, but it's really interesting if you're reading the light novels. Even the slower stuff.
I love the lore and world building. They do it nicely by changing area. First from the office room, to here outside, and so on, so people and things around them are moving at least
